Make sure you call to confirm any special orders from the bakery! I ordered a vegan cake for a bridal shower and paid in advance. However, when I called to see if it was ready the day of the event, they claimed to have no cake *and* no record of the order! Even though I paid! Terribly frustrating. They were able to make a cake right away and I picked it up late. The cake was delicious though. I'm not a vegan but thought it was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had.

I was unimpressed with our dinnner at McKeown's. The food was bland and not worth the price. We ordered the $6 mac and cheese off of the children's menu for our son and it was Kraft mac and cheese...
I was unimpressed with our dinnner at McKeown's. The food was bland and not worth the price. We ordered the $6 mac and cheese off of the children's menu for our son and it was Kraft mac and cheese with a hotdog on top! Drinks were alright and the waitress was friendly, but didn't know the menu very well and brought out our food in a random order. (entrees first, then appetizers, then our bread last?)

I went there for my first anniversary and we had reservations for dinner. Yet, they failed to let us know when we made the reservations that the dining room would be closed off for a "special...
I went there for my first anniversary and we had reservations for dinner. Yet, they failed to let us know when we made the reservations that the dining room would be closed off for a "special guest" (Starbuck's president), and we would have to sit in the lounge (couch with coffee table). Once we arrived, the waitress informed us of the occasion, and that we wouldn't be able to order off the dinner menu because the chefs were going to focus entirely on their special guests, and we could only order the tapas off of the late night menu. We decided to stay, since it was already 7:30 and we were hungry. After about 8 tapas and a lot of money later, we were still half full and decided to leave. The atmosphere and decor was great, but it was a very stressful/disappointing night. Situations like this are understandable, but we would have appreciated the consideration of being informed of such an event ahead of time, or at least an apology. I would like to come back because it is a beautiful restaurant, but the memories of my anniversary were too unpleasant.

I went there to get my 1 yr old pom her shots...but the vet on duty was rough with her...and didn't take into consideration how scared she was. He didn't greet or introduce himself to us, even...
I went there to get my 1 yr old pom her shots...but the vet on duty was rough with her...and didn't take into consideration how scared she was. He didn't greet or introduce himself to us, even though we were new. Basically we motioned for us to go into a smaller room, and he gave her the two shots, then left. He was not very gentle when he handled her and made her even more scared. Although the examination fee was 1/2 of what is of some other vets, I will not be returning to this vet. He did not seen to welcome any questions that we may have about her and wasn't very friendly to us either.
