I really like Candlewood Animal Hospital for my dog. They pay a great deal of attention to the animals and seem to really care about them.
I found the prices to be fair and the staff to be amazing - definitely a recommendation if you want an animal hospital that will care about your pets.

Not only a gym, but they offer a ton of classes, personal trainers, and even yoga. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a big, clean locker room, which has hairdryers. They have a Kids Club when you can drop your kids off and it is extremely inexpensive.
Overall, I recommend this gym - although I do find it a little pricey. If you're willing to spend the money...you'll enjoy it!

Al won't rip you off like many mechanics will, and he always states things like they are - what you need done, and what can wait, which I find really helpful for someone who doesn't know a thing about cars!

Their lunch comes with a soup and bread bar - no salad though, but the soup was quite good - although Chicken Noodle wasn't exactly Italian.
Good food, good prices, and they have an all you can eat night (Wed. I think) which I'll have to check out.

I foudn a cat on the street and took her in. When I brought her to the complete cat, I explained my situation - that I wasn't looking for a cat, but that I would take her in. One of her teeth was messed up - and she had a heart murmer. The vet at the the Complete Cat explained my options, but suggested that none of her problems would hurt her and I would spend a fortune on finxing them - which were mostly cosmetic.
They did not try to upsell anything and they weren't pushy. They gave her the shots she needed - and didnt' charge me an arm and a leg.
Definitely a place I would recommend - they seem to care, rather than just be out for the money.

New Milford is a big hospital, but it feels small because of the attention that is given to you. I have been to the Emergency Room numerous times and have never encountered a long wait or a staff...
New Milford is a big hospital, but it feels small because of the attention that is given to you. I have been to the Emergency Room numerous times and have never encountered a long wait or a staff member that wasn't 100% dedicated to do whatever possible to help me.
In an emergency - I would choose NM Hospital over Danbury because of the quick and attentive service.

I got the special mean for two, which was about $30 I believe but had enough food to feed about 4 people. It came with chicken, ribs, shrimp, veggies, potatoes, and onion roll and salads - a great choice and a bargain for the amount of food they give you - you wont' have to cook for the rest of the week.

A good little place to stop in and pick up a pizza. I stop on my lunch break from work sometimes because the pizza is good and it is a very informal place. There is another Bambinos also on Mill Plain, but the other one doesn't have seating - either are great to pick up a pizza on the way home from work though.

In the same plaza as Walmart (off exit 8), Once Upon a Child sells used childrens items and clothes up to age 16. Their prices are good - although they are wonderful when you hit an end of season...

Also, they will buy clothing and gently used children's items. Sometimes a hit-or-miss, but fun to check out if you have the time.

I usually buy my outdoor plants at Peter's Imports. I find the staff knows much more about whatever I need to know than the staff at big places like Home Depot.
Once in awhile, although I'm not sure when - they have a gardening class where they talk about all different types of flowers and plants and how to take care of them, when to plant them, how to keep the deer away, etc.
