I recently went to my friend's wedding at the bronx botanical garden. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was absolutely beautiful. The location was about a mile inside the gates. The ceremony occurred outside by a running stream and the reception was both outside and then inside. You almost didn't realize you were in nyc. Apparently it was quite affordable as well.
