I've been living in North Seattle for years and I've always wondered why there was no great little neighborhood Mexican food joint. For some reason, Mr. Villa's sat there untried by me for a long time. A friend and I hit the place the other night for her birthday and I thought it was quite tasty and authentic. I had a combo enchilada plate with one chicken and one shredded beef. While both were good and covered in a baked dark red sauce, the shredded beef was outstanding. My friend ordered the Chile Verde and was quite impressed as well. The service was attentive and friendly.
There were two thing I felt knocked 1 star off of this neighborhood find:
1) I felt the prices on the menu were all 1 - 2 dollars high per plate. Everything felt a bit expensive for the ambience being provided.
2) While the interior is painted and updated, they were playing international dance music the night we went. It did not feel right for the neighborhood or the cuisine.

Chiang's exists in a location which used to rotate businesses every year or so. When it first went in, I was skeptical, we'd had several Chinese restaurants go out of business on the same spot. I am happy to have been wrong.
Chiang's has two menus, an authentic menu and their regular menu. The food off either of them is great but if you're looking for a real culinary experience, the authentic menu is not to be missed. Between the two menus, you have access to one of the largest food selections in Seattle.
The food is always great, arriving in gigantic portions. I almost always end up with leftovers in my fridge. The service is hit or miss, as the place can be bursting at the seams or fairly quiet (Friday nights are always crazy), but as long as you're looking for great Chinese food and have a tolerant friend or two, this is the place to be...

As an active person, I originally chose Dr. Pitt because he was covered by my work insurance and I figured most of my medical needs were bound to be sports-related injuries. What I've found now through the years is that he is a conscientious and thorough general practice physician as well who focuses on natural and rehabilitative treatments whenever possible. His analysis of my several injuries has been spot in, even with nuanced diagnoses and treatment plans.
His staff is pleasant and professional. There are two offices you can schedule (one up in Northgate and one in Ballard) for convenience.
I strongly recommend him.
