I am not normally into this type of food but this place surprised me. I was very impressed with the food and presentation and the cook (who cooks on a grill right in front of you) was very funny and did a great job. The food was tasty and I would definitely go back again. Its a little pricey, a place I wouldn't go to regularly....but its a perfect spot to take someone you want to impress or for a special occasion.

John's pass is a really nice historic place to check out on St. Pete Beach. Sculley's is a really good restaurant - set up like a beach restaurant on the gulf side. The food is very good as is the service. They also offer live music from time to time and have a big screen for major sporting events. If you are in John's Pass - its the first place I'd go to eat. Its also very reasonably priced.

Frenchy's is a nice place to eat/drink on Clearwater Beach. They offer some great views and amazing sunsets. The food is pretty good - but nothing exhilirating. The scene and atmosphere are the main reasons people frequent Frenchy's. Its a nice place to go and relax and realize exactly why you live in this area!

Ciccio and Tony's offers a great selection of food at very reasonable prices (less than $10). I go there regularly for lunch. The food is unique (several stir fry and wrap combinations) and very tasty. Whenever I feel like something "different", I go there. They also do takeout. The dining room is small, but they also have some outside dining. If you are feeling like trying some unique and tasty food, you can't miss with this restaurant.

I think the Melting Pot is a great date restaurant - it seems to fit that very well. The staff is courteous and they offer some unique dishes. My only complaint is that I had to wait a little longer than expected a couple of times I've gone there. Other than that - the food and service has always been very good. Its also very reasonably priced comparied to other "romantic" restuarants in the area.

Fortunatos has been in downtown St Pete for a long time. They have a great menu selection and some awesome pizza! There prices are also extremely cheap compared to other places. I recommend the Pizza Trio for lunch! It can get a little crowded but the food is great at a great value. They also have a bar that opens up at night next door.

They have promotions and sales regularly with 0% interest financing which is also a plus. The sales people can be a little pushy but that's expected. They also offer delivery.

The staff is excellent and courteous and the food is plentiful and tasty. You will never leave Charley's feeling hungry.....they definitely get you full! I have always been happy with steak size and preparation. If you are a steak lover, don't miss out on Charley's!

It can get crowded on the weekends, but its a nice relaxed/local place to hang out. They also serve some pretty decent bar food. Check it out!

The parking situation is difficult - they need some more parking. Its definitely a fun time and a must see for single guys!
