This Petsmart is decent sized and people there are pretty friendly if you ever need help. The shelves are always well-stocked and it's easy to find things. If you go on Saturdays, there are often many pets with their owners shopping in the store. Also sometimes on Saturdays afternoons, the local animal shelter would hold their adoption event in front of the store, which makes the store more of an attraction (at least my dog thinks so!) This Petsmart also hold obedience classes and I've had a store rep stopping me and my dog to talk about the classes. Even after I told her that I probably won't be enrolling, but she offered for me to go in when she's working so that my dog can socialize with her dog. She also showed me some training advice. I was glad that she wasn't very pushy about the classes and grateful that she offered her dog to my dog to socialize, as my dog doesn't have many doggy friends. So, overall, I have pretty good impression of this Petsmart.

Montgomery County Public Libraries system is the best public library system I've ever been to. The one that I frequent the most is the one in Gaithersburg. The library itself is not that big, but it maintains a good selection of book collections. Even if you can't find the book that you are looking for, you can just go on to MCPL's website and do a search county-wide, and you can request a hold and they'll notify you once your book is ready. I use this option a lot and it has been serving me really really well. The library is also constantly acquiring new books; I can tell because I am always seeing new books during searches - just when I thought I've read all the books in a certain subject, new books are coming in! They also have a foreign books section that have a decent selection of books in foreign languages. The library also has a video section, now, which they added just months ago. The movie selections is not bad, and they also have limited selection on DVDs. From what I've observed, the selection for movies are better during the day, before they are all picked off. The staff at the library are on duty to help you if needed.
The only bad thing about this library is that it's often crowded, and people don't always keep the noise down.

I called the on a Friday to see if they could change the timing belt on my car, they said to bring it in early the next day. I even asked them if having the right belt for my car was a consideration and they said it was fine. So I took my car in at 7 am the next day, and spent over an hour getting home by bus. Since I needed new tires too, I also asked them to rotate the front tires to the back and give me new front tires. Later that day, at 4 pm, I get a call from them saying that they took my car apart and then noticed that they didn't have the right belt. They tried to get me to leave my car until Monday night, but I told them no because I had to go to work. When I got there to see my car, I saw that they just put the new tires on the back. When I mentioned it, they said they couldn't get the tire off. But by that time I was just feeling lucky to get my car back in one piece, so I took it.
It's pretty obvious that they lied about both. There's no way to put the timing belt back together in 2 hours, so it's obvious that they were just trying to get me to leave it until Monday. Also, if they had tried to remove the front tires, the gun would have broken any of the nuts off if they were stuck.

There's something for everyone at Rio Entertainment Center. The main attraction in the center is the Loews Movie Theatre, which has theaters on the first and second floor. There are several restaurants at the waterfront. The restaurants include Guapo's Cantina, Hamburger Hamlet, Tara Thai, and Cafe Spice (Indian), which is the newest addition to Rio. There is also a Sports and Health Club for people of all ages who are into fitness. The Gold Center offers brand name golf equipments at low prices. You can also rent paddle boats to cruise around in the lake in warmer seasons. During the summer time, there are free summer concert events every weekend evening/nights. There are usually a lot of people there. Which sometimes would make parking a bit a nuisance. They have added new parking structure nearby, and are still working on another one. Shopping and restaurants near the center have also been expanded with more options, such as California Pizza Kitchen, Potbelly's, ecco shoe store, etc. It's a great place to hang out with friends, or spend time with your family.

I understand how difficult it is to find a good vet, and I am happy to say that after taking my dog here three times for physical, I've decided that I no longer worry about whether I should find another vet or not. I did have (little) problem with them before, but it was mainly because of the vet techs, but the last time I was there, they had changed the techs and my dog was treated with care and diligence. I was rather pleased. As for my vet, Dr. Jenkins (there is another vet there, which I can't speak of because I never met him), she talks very gently to my dog and also explains to me what she's doing as she's examining him, and she would also tell me the results as she goes along. I am very happy with vet, and I think that's the more important part. Dr. Jenkins seems to know what she's doing and she seems to really care about the dog, and also if I had any questions. She wouldn't finish the exam until she's certain that I had no questions for her, and she never made me feel rushed. The staff made me feel very comfortable and a valued customer/patient.
They are also very good at keeping the records and sends notice of what treatment is needed on schedule. If you have any concerns, they are very willing to work with you so the vaccination schedule suits your needs. They are never pushy with any excess procedure/treatments, either.
They also provide grooming services, dental cleaning, etc. I feel like my dog is in good care in this animal hospital facility.
The only tiny thing I wasn't happy about was that last year, a month after my dog went to his physical I received a bill from them, when I thought I already paid the full fee. It's always annoying to receive bills when you don't expect it. I asked them to make sure to charge me the full amount at the time of my exam, and they apologized for that and was sympathetic to the inconvenience.
I didn't choose the price range because I don't really know how much vet charges on average.

Benjarong Thai Restaurant is located in the popular Congressional Shopping Plaza. The atmosphere inside is quite pleasant. The tables decorated with clean white table cloths, fresh orchid and a candle (for dinner). The music is soft in the background and you can almost call this place fancy. They have a full bar that offers exotic drinks and the wait staff is courteous and does their job right. The menu itself is decent. They have the typical curries, entrees, salads, and soup. Their curries are good, but the portions is not big. I'd have to say that what's most disappointing about this place is the flavor of the food. If you order the regular entress that are sauteed, they all end up tasting the same - it's likely that they used the same sauce base to make all those dishes. Sometimes, it's a bit too salty for my taste, also. I'd try the curries and skip the entrees if you decide to try their food, or just don't order two entrees or they'll taste too similar.

Ichiban Japanese Restaurant is probably one of the worst restaurants I've been to. I've been there twice. The first time I went there was years ago, and my impression of it was it was extremely expensive. Then I went again not too long ago and it has gotten worse! First of all, the prices are above other Japanese restaurants in the area. I thought that the high price might be due to the "elegance" of the restaurant, etc. but the restaurant itself looks old: the furniture looks old and outdated, and the wall and the seat are discolored. Perhaps some time ago the restaurant was very fancy, but it just looks rather run down now. What's even worse is that the sushi wasn't even fresh. The entree I ordered came with slices of raw fish, but they didn't look fresh and they didn't even taste fresh. As a sushi lover, I rarely laaves any sushi uneaten. I found myself not able to finish the fish because it just tasted fishy/funny. What is funnier is that the wait staff carries on like it's a fancy restaurant; they just don't match with the look of the restaurant and the food.
If one day they decide to offer fresh fish and renovate the place, they would be much better. But for now, I am staying far far away from them.

Thai Farm is located at the end of the King Farm Road, where it's not easily seen by people. It's on the first floor of a business building. The atmosphere is pretty nice in there. The wait staff is very courteous and the service was never slow the times I was there. They have a full bar so you can order drinks, and the Thai iced tea there tastes good and is good value. The menu itself offers a wide variety of entrées, curries, salads, appetizers, and soups. The curries here are not very spicy, even the red and green curries, but the flavor is good. I think that this is one of the better Thai restaurants in the area overall.

The first time that I went there, many tables in the restaurant had this little dish that has flame on it. You could smell it. I looked all over the menu and couldn't find it, so I didn't order it. Then, the second time I was there, my friend who frequents the restaurant, ordered an appetizer that she recommended, and when it came, it was that dish that I saw from the first time! It's called the "Scallop Appetizer"; the name is not fancy but I think the dish itself is pretty interesting. A minced mixture of scallop, imitation crabs, and some other stuff that I don't know what, is placed on a scallop shell, and the shell is on top this flame on this plate. It looks at least interesting. The waitress said that it's very popular and they can make it spicy (which is what I prefer) or non-spicy. The cost of it is $8.95, but it's worth a try. I order that everytime I go now. YUM!
The rest of the menu is impressive, also. They have regular sushi bar stuff, bento boxes, and other entrees. The portion for Unagi is big and the bento boxes are most filling. You can also ask for fried rice instead of the white rice to go with the entrees. Their fried rice is excellent.
Lastly, but not the least, the prices are not bad at all!

When I first met Dr. Wellman, I thought she seemed nice and was a soft spoken person. She seems pretty organized and efficient with her practice, but I would NEVER NEVER recommend her to anyone. I was her patient for several months now so I think I can talk about her with certainty. 1) Dr. Wellman is very prescription-happy: What made me feel a bit uneasy about her is that she seems too quick to write prescriptions. On multiple occasions, she gave me new prescriptions to take based on too little information, I think. 2) Dr. Wellman cares only about money: She seems to care about how much you owe her more than anything else. It's definitely more of a "business for profit" for her than trying to help people. She's more into her own best interests than your mental health. For example, she would make you sign a lot of agreements that benefits her (such as how much she charges late fees, xerox fees, etc.), which is fine, but she wouldn't make a copy for you, so you don't have a copy of the agreements for reference. I've been to other similar services and they've always given a copy to me to keep, but not Dr. Wellman - that's why her practice stood out to me. Also, she explained her terms on the agreements to me verbally and I trusted her so signed, but in the end what's on the paper wasn't what she said to me. 3) She doesn't listen to you: She's definitely not the kind of doctor that would work with you. Whatever she says goes, no room or even CHANCE to negotiate at all. No point in telling her your situation b/c she'd say that she has no time for that b/c she has other people to talk to. I am so upset by her that she did me more harm than good, overall. In summary, I would not recommend her at all and she's the MOST uncaring health professional I know. If you choose to see her (good luck), don't forget to ask for copies of papers that she makes you sign so she wouldn't use it to screw you over (and she might charge you for the copies, also!)
