When I visited Coney Island, I had to make a stop here and try out this famous coaster. I went on a weekday and there was virtually no line, so I was able to ride it a couple of times in the front seat. It is old and creaky, but that is part of its charm (and what makes it so scary!). While it does not have all of the high tech frills of most roller coasters today, it is still fun and a good piece of history.

This is a beautiful movie theater that has a lot of history. It is the best place to go for second run movies. They also have many different cult classics that they play at midnight on Saturdays. My favorite was several years ago when they had many different silent films accompanied by music of The Ululating Mummies. If they ever do this again, definitely take the opportunity to see them. The prices are cheap and the atmosphere is excellent. It is always fun to go with friends, family or a date.

They also have specially decorated candles for the major holidays. The prices are average, but there are a lot of great deals and clearance items. There is a cool section where you can go and observe the candle factory.

I always buy things here around the holidays for family and friends. The prices are average, but the selection is excellent.

This is a nice professional barbershop who does cater towards the Korean community. It is interesting to watch how they cut hair because they are so precise. As part of the way they cut hair, they will use scissors to cut just a few hairs at a time towards the end of the cut, to get it just right. Everyone is very friendly and good at what they do. They do a great job, but do not go here if you are in a hurry because they do take pride in what they do and that does take time. The haircuts are a good price.

This is a nice store for collectables and home decorative knick knacks (of course some are in brass). Some of the items are not my style, but there are some cool things here at good prices. You can always find wonderful gifts here and they will have certain themed items throughout the year. If you see something you like, make sure you purchase it or it may not be there the next time you come in.

They are expensive, but they carry high quality items, and that is definitely not something that should be skimped on if you are a serious athlete. The items I have purchased have lasted a long time and the staff is very knowledgeable about their products.

I visited here several years ago when there was a Warhol exhibit at the museum. It is very well maintained and they had some really nice exhibitions of up and coming artists. The architecture and layout are modern and the curator did an amazing job of putting the art together. I would recommend visiting the museum if you are in the area.

This is a great place to go for all of your copying needs. Many professors from VT use this store to print up their own material for classes. They get things done quickly and also have a selection of wedding invitations and other items that you can get printed (such as banners and calendars). It is in a convenient location in University Mall and has very reasonable prices.

This is a good bookstore, right near the Colonial Williamsburg area. There are a lot of history and literature books in this small store. The only real problem is that it can be hard to maneuver around, since everything is so close together. I was worried that I would knock some of the collectables over. They are reasonably priced and have a great selection of Dover thrift books which are super cheap.
