We dined at The Yankee Grill and Roaster on 7/24/06 - our experience was disastrous. In addition to waiting more than an hour for our food to be served, most of our party was underwhelmed by the quality of our meals. The BBQ pot roast sandwich was very dry. My cole slaw was the same temperature as my BBQ pot roast sandwich and fries. Another person's blackened salmon Caesar salad included 2 pieces of fish - one was very tasty and the 2nd piece was raw in the middle. Our server came to the table after everyone was finished eating and commented about the raw fish but took no action. The kids were entertained by swatting an abundance of small black flies which insisted on visiting with us from the time we arrived until our departure. I sent a follow-up letter to the Food and Beverage Manager (there's a stack of her business cards by the cash register) and haven't received a response (it's been 5 weeks).
Get the picture ... the Yankee Grill and Roaster in Renton WA isn't worth your time or the calories.
