My first job at age 15 while in high school was at Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken, so there will always be a soft spot in my heart for this place. Unfortunately, all Lexington locations leave a lot to be desired. On those rare, rare occassions that the food is served fresh, it's delicious and trumps KFC, Popeye's and other chicken chains. Unfortunately, those instances are rarer than finding a pearl in an oyster. The typical experience features slow service, old and lukewarm food, and poor customer service. In fact, the "good" experiences have become such a rarity that I no longer frequent any Lee's in Lexington.
