A friend of mine suggested I hit up the big lots to buy some under-roos. I checked them out, and really I would suggest everyone do the same. they have lots of name brand underwear that would cost a lot in the department store for very low prices. Beyond underwear they have a good and varying selection of other name brand items at closeout prices.

As the summer briscly approcahes i find myself mroe and more looking for cold things to eat and drink, which brings my mind back to the juice shop. the Juice shop is a greta place to get a wonderful smootie made out of real fruit ot the sugar and general crap that tends to be put in smoothies at other places. If you're a smoothie fan consider giving the Juice Shop a try. They have some fantastic drinks you are bound to love, I do.

Ed McKays is one of my favorite used bookstores to go to. I will usually go there with book, intending to leave with a little cash, and end up leaving with a crapload more books. They have a wonderful selection taht is organized remarkably well for a used bookstore. Theyalso have a good selection of video games and CDs, last time i checked DVDs and VHS tapes as well.

I had been to Denny's IHOP and Waffle House, but never Vourtneys until I moved to the Raleigharea. they have some absolutly fantastic breakfast food options at very reasonable prices. I was impressed atthe selction and the quality at this resturant. The staff is uber nice as well making it a great experience. If you've never been here you owe yourself a trip. they are open traditional hours, but not late late night.

Cookuot is great for several reasons. One being taht it has two drive-thrus so you dont have to wait in a mega-gynormous line to get your food. Two: the food is decent. its not the best thing you've ever put in your mouth, but its pretty tasty none the less. Three: its cheap. A hamburger 2 side items and a soda will run you $3.99. Four: its open till 2am. you can go to cookout on weekends up till 4am i think. The place never closes, which makes it grande.

I was a vegetarian for 8 years, it was Char-Grill that finally brought me back into the meat eating world. i would drive past it everyday on my way home from work. one day the smell finally got to me and I purchased a hamburger. These really are the best hamburgers in town. and are reasonably inexpensive as well which makes them even better.

My favorite part of this fresh market is their candy selection. not your ususal grocery store fare of MandMs and Snickers bars they have a tremendous selection of candy by the pound including every jelly belly flavor of jelly bean known to man. They have some fantastic truffles as well. Beyond the candy, they have a decent selection of specialty groceries as well.

When I was little I used to like to go to the fairgrounds flea market and look at the old toys. Some were antiques, others were more like something you might find at a garage sale. Regardless the toys were always a highlight for me. I also rememebr a lady who sold cloth out of the back of her station wagon. The windows were filled to the brim, it was like a carnival vehicle. Now taht Ive grown up, the flea market has becvome a place to get unique items rather inexpensively. I would reccommend this as a trip for anyone who likes unique items of is looking for a bargain.

Qudoba has some of the largest burrittos I have ever seen. A friend and I went here for lunch and I was dining on my chicken burritto for thenest three meals I ate. One burritto is pretty expensive in my opinion, but not if you look at how many meals I got out of it. in taht respect it is a reasonably cost effective meal. If you've never been to a Qudoba they are well worth a trip just to see what they have to offer, its usually somehting tasty.

This schoolkids is one of my favorites simply because of the number of actual records they get. In an age of digital music, its very rare to get the newest releases on record, and schoolkids most of the time will get them. the staff here is usually good about making suggestions for new music to listen to. They also have a box o free stuff next to the door where you can get free posters and promo cds.
