I've been to this place three times now since it reopened last month (Aug. 2006) and have had delicious food and great service each time. I can personally recommend the crispy chicken burger, cheeseburger and blue cheese bacon burgers. All are served on a very tasty chewy foccacia roll. The fries are very good and the potato salad is creamy and delicious. Be sure to stop by there for Monday madness when all burgers are 1/2 price!

The Edmonds Automotive staff have taken good care of my Nissan pickup for more than a year. They do practise somewhat of a triage approach, though. If your need is not serious, you may have to wait a month to get your car in. But it will be well taken care of once you get there.

Last night I had the steak Burrito Grande with red sauce and an enchilada dip on a co-worker's recommendation. Delicious! They use grilled skirt steak in the burrito and it was fantastic. The guacamole and chips on the side were also delicious. The burrito also held together better than a Taco del Mar burrito, and was just as tasty.

You can call ahead to Chelsea's and it will be ready and waiting for you in an appealing foil wrapper when you get there. They also have something healthy and delicious for lunch every day. Walnut Street Coffee is the newest edition to the coffee-soaked Edmonds and it's also the best. Here's how it breaks down: Waterfront - friendly staff, but not striking coffee; Zu Cafe - staff often slow and bewildered, coffee tastes too strong and just plain bad, great upstairs seating, fantastic pastries; Starbucks - why? when there's so much more; Tully's - a close second, accepts AAA card for discount; Edmonds Bakery - great SBC drip and cheap but no fancy stuff; Walnut - BEST. There it is. Now go there!

After looking at a lot of health clubs in the Edmonds-Shoreline-Lake Forest Park area, I settled on Bally's and have been pleased with this location so far. I specifically wanted a health club with a pool, and this location always has 2 laps lanes and no sign-up sheets for them. My only complaint is the women's locker rooms smell like B.O. But they look clean otherwise. I can definitely take the smell for the super low signup and monthly fees compared to other pools in the area.

I stumbled into this store after going next door to the liquor store and could have spent a lot more time looking around. This spacious store has a really nice selection of furniture, clothes, dishes and some very cute vintage items like a metal cowboy cup, record players and Beatles memorabilia.
I could tell the items were handpicked and in some cases (like dish sets), carefully collected into a nice set and sold together.
If you've ever browsed a Goodwill this will be a refreshing treat -- doubly so because every item here seemed to have a clearly marked price. When I was there last they also had special prices for items with different colored tags, so be sure to check the sign on the register for the tag color price chart to see what the discounts are.
