Beauty Bar is a good solid bar. It's got a great feeling to it... you have the choice of couches by the window, sitting at the bar, or an upstairs loungey area. They have a pretty wide variety of drinks (the beers are a tad pricey for me at $4.50 a pint), and there's usually a very good crowd there. I have had some great times and met a lot of great people at Beauty Bar. If you're in the Haight-Ashbury area and not looking for a really hip hipster scene, check out Beauty Bar. You won't be disappointed.
