This review is for: LOWE'S HOME IMPROVEMENT

I agree that Lowe's tends to be better organized than Home Depot, but they still fall short of the service you 'used' to be able to find in a lumber yard or local home improvement store. On two occasions I purchased items that required installation, I was told an installer would call me within a week, both times I waited two weeks and never received a call. I went back to the store to ask what the problem was and no one was even able to contact the installer, that's pretty crummy service in my opinion - phantom installers who can't be contacted by store employees??? I cancelled both purchases and went to a local door/window company and got better service for about the same price
