The Hair Cuttery in Fairfax is a typical Hair Cuttery. They offer inexpensive hair services. The stylists are always changing, and I have never encountered one that was able to understand enough English to be able to follow simple instructions for what I would like done to my hair. On one occasion, I asked for my long straight hair to be trimmed about 2 inches. The stylist stood me up, brushed my hair out straight, and proceeded to cut my hair straigh accross (full thickness) with her scissors, then informed me that she was done. Of course, my hair was horribly uneven and we had to have the manager fix it. My husband still gets his hair cut there, but the outcome is always a surprise.
