The Chevrolet Aveo comes in four-door sedan and five-door hatchback configurations, and both are available in one of three trim levels -- Special Value, LS and LT. Special Value models come in at around $10,000 and offer basics like power steering, an AM/FM stereo, tilt steering wheel, split-folding rear seat, 14-inch steel wheels, tinted glass, body-color mirrors and door handles and, on hatchbacks, a rear wiper. LS models add air conditioning and carpeted floor mats, as well as the availability of major options such as ABS, CD/MP3 player, alloy wheels and an automatic transmission. The LT adds power windows and locks, a CD/MP3 player, remote keyless entry, cruise control, 15-inch alloy wheels and upgraded seat fabric.

The guy at Larchmont Beauty supply took one look at my skin and told me to buy $350 worth of YonKa products. $350 hard earned dollars. THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. But since I had already whored myself by purchasing Pro-Activ at 3am on late night television, I figured eh. What the hell?
3 months later, I have really nice skin. Not poreless or airbrushed or anything resembling pre-coked out Kate Moss, but nice, no need to wear makeup and it's acceptable at 29, skin.

I dine at this sushi restaurant almost on a weekly basis for lunch. Why? Because it is good and affordable. I usually order the "take" sushi which is a sushi combination plate. with about 8 (?) pieces of my favorite sushi plus a cucumber roll, and a variety of appetizers and miso soup. The fish is always fresh. I especially love their salmon and yellowtail. All of that for just $10! Can't beat this price. I always leave with a full stomach. I highly recommend this dish if you go there. Their Chirashi is also very good. Always beautifully crafted by their skillful sushi chefs. All the staff can speak English and Japanese, and are really friendly.

Whether you are like to eat in an outdoor environment, shop for trinkets, buy farmers market produce or meats, or stop by a non-pretentious newsstand, the Farmers Market is the place to be.
My favorite stand there has to be Littlejohn's Toffee. I usually end up making several stops at that stand over the holiday season, as their toffee is a staple in my gift-giving.
With all of the 'health food' in Los Angeles, it is just fantastic to still have a place where you can buy a large burger and fries. Or a big, juicy piece of roast beef.
There are also several open bars, places to buy wine and cheese, a wonderful middle eastern restaurant, and great little stands with many little gifts to buy.
If you are looking for the place in the middle of Los Angeles without the glamour and pretense, the Farmers Market is the place to be.

The Grove's a very beautiful place and I love walking around at night when they have the lights up and music going. If you go on an off peak day, you're almost certain to see celebs there. But I really like only going here because it's within walking distance and they have a huge Barnes and Noble. If I had to drive though, I probably wouldn't come as often. Plus the movie theaters are expensive (special pricing just for Friday and Saturday!). But the atmosphere is great to get a taste of LA, the restaurants are pretty good, and they have a very entertaining water show. It might not be Bellagio, but it's still very romantic...
