I just happened upon this place one day and go back often for a nice dose of mac-n-yeese. Hillside takes veg in another direction. Add a little jerk salt, Jamaican flair, and an eco-friendly environment - and you've got a damn fine sandwich shop.
Everytime I've eaten there - there's only been one employee, so depending on how full the restaurant is - the food can take a little while. It is, however, well worth the wait.
Try the Mac-n-yeese or the faux tuna sandwich - my faves.
They also have a location in Tacoma. I had the best brunch ever!
