Now although, like any theater I suppose, the worst time to go is on the weekend, if you are smart like me you know to go early in the week to catch the latest blockbuster movies.
At AMC theater at North Dekalb Mall you can go shopping, stop for dinner at Applebee's or the foodcourt and then still be in time to catch your movie showing. I recommend during the week because chances are you will avoid all of those long lines, crying babies and teeny boppers.
Personally date night or dinner and a movie night should be earlier in the week, it is far more romantic this way.

I mentioned to my family, who recently came in to town over the holiday, that we would be going to a place called Jillian's. Of course, one of my younger cousins asked "What can you do at Jillian's?" and the only suitable response was "EVERYTHING." This is no exaggeration either.
Jillian's offers not only fun for the family, but fun for the guys, the girls, the kids, or fun simply for a couple of love birds. There is so much to do that one could never get bored. There's a bowling alley, billiard tables, a dance floor, a live DJ, a huge game room, bar, IMAX screen and a restaurant.
If you can't think of anything to do over the summer or if you have family that you need to entertain this is one helluva way to do it.

Although it isn't exactly NY style pizza, at least as far as taste is concerned, it does however come close to being alright. The pizza isn't superbly delicious, but it is okay if you have a midnight craving. If fact that is what I like most about Fellini's, when other restaurants are closed, they're open. To add, not only do they serve pizza they serve alcohol, which is probably the real reason why the people return, the pizza just happens to be something to nibble on while you're guzzling down a Bud-Lite.

Hey every now and again you just got to have one and nothing else will do, no burger, no pizza, no chicken wings only a big, thick burrito stuffed with all your favorite ingredients. Um, excuse me as my mouth waters right now. If that moment for you is now then I recommend for starters a Moe's Southwest Grill, "Joey Bag of Donuts." It is my personal favorite.
With a nice variety menu, the food here is quickly prepared and tasty. Perfect for those on the go, for those who need to grab a bite and hit the road.
Afterwards not only will you be so completely satisfied, you will probably be able to speak fluent spanish even if you never spoken one lick of it. It is just that good. Hey but don't take my word for it, go and taste for yourself.

If you are an urbanite like myself who enjoys the thrill and excitement of living in the city, yearns for a learning environment that is diverse, eclectic and fulfilling, then my suggestion would be for you to turn in an application at Georgia State University.
Here you will not only get to experience a far too rare learning atmosphere, but you will get it at more than half the price of private institutions. I am talking only a little over $2000 per/semester. Who couldn't pay for that?
There are so many programs and options for students that if you still just need to have a name brand school on your academic resume like let's say Emory, Agnes Scott or Morehouse, you can simply put in an application for transient student status or co-register at the list of schools offered while only being responsible for GSU's learning costs. Of course some rules apply, but in all it is an excellent opportunity to get the learning you need as well as the learning you want.
Lastly, despite the reasonable cost of attendance, GSU invests a bucket load of money in to its students, its facilities and faculty and that money goes a long way. For Georgia State's reputation goes without mention. Many big name institutions look favorably on GSU graduates and many of Georgia State's graduates go on to work for firms like the Atlanta Journal Constitution, CNN, Turner Broadcasting, state governments and the list goes on.
Then to top it all off, stationed in the heart of downtown Atlanta, you will be only minutes away from Lenox Mall, Stone Mountain Park, Six Flags, Wachovia Headquarters, CNN Headquarters, Buckhead, etc.
Well, I hope I did my job in selling Georgia State University to you and you will take my advice and to see the many things GSU can offer you for next to nothing. I can only say this because I am senior here at GSU and coming here has been the smartest academic move I've made in a long time.
So why not get the most out of your education?

Now if you're a kid, this is probably the closest thing to heaven you'll ever see, yet for the adults that have to chaperone the kids this is hardly anyone's idea of fun.
With the long lines, the headbanging rides, the unkempt restrooms, steep costs for EVERYTHING, the last place a sensible adult wants to be is at Six Flags, especially during the summer. The heat alone is unbearable, but the resultant B.O. is worse. I went this past May, waited around for hours, got on 3 rides and left. I guess I am not kid anymore.
