I went out on the Sea Dog this past weekend in the 95 degree heat. You know, its the best thing to do to relieve yourself from the heat, outside of air conditioning. I know its a touristy thing to do and yes, I was showing friends from out of town Navy Pier, but it wasn't bad. Got out past the break wall and it cooled off tremendously. Tour was nice, interns/summer help did a nice job. Only for the price ($22), and the length of the ride, 30 min, thought it was a little steep. But, if you have out of towners here, not a bad thing to do and show them the city from a lake view.

Yamado of Naperville is fantastic! They had opened a store in Glenview but went out of business due to lack of staff. But this one, the original is great. Fairly reasonable prices but the sushi rolls are out of sight. They make their own specialities like the Grand Canyon Rolls. Great atmosphere and they even have a large flat screen by the sushi bar. Highly recommended, sushi lovers will rejoice. Very easy to miss but on Ogden Ave so should find it ok.
