One of the best in the west

Wednesday, July 27, 2005
The Amon Carter is an interesting study in contrasts. It is a sleek, modern building with midcentury-inspired furnishings that houses an impressive collection of Texan and Western art. The traveling exhibition are usually related to Western art or architecture in some way. It's a beautiful museum, and I am happy to spend many an afternoon wandering around there. Admission is still free, as far as I know.
