nice facility, nice collection

Wednesday, July 27, 2005
The Kimbell is certainly the more popular of the two museums separated by Arch Adams Street. While I feel that the Kimbell pales in comparison with The Modern (the other museum), I can see why the Kimbell's appeal is wider than its neighbor. They have more of a classical collection, with master artists who happen to have recognizable names. Their facility, while on the small side, makes the most of its space. They have many impressive traveling exhibitions that don't really appeal to me, but others seem to love them.
