There is a little burger place in Meriden that I went to called Ted's famous steamed burgers which serves just that. The burgers that are absolutely succulent are steamed in a stove top steamer invented by the owner. I also had a steamed hot dog which was the juiciest hot dog i have ever eaten. I highly recommend this place. You have to bring your own champaigne as they serve only soda. Like Loui's and Yankee Doodle this place has had significant media exposure.
