On June 25, 2012 I went to the Candy Jar to buy Chocolate covered caramels like I do every year. When I got home I tried some, come to find out they had peanuts in the bottom before the chocolate. I called them the next day and asked why they didn't mark them as having peanuts in them. The girl told me that sometimes they did and sometimes they didn't, but the company they came from didn't mark them so they never know when they do and when they don't. This is very bad business as it could cost someone allergic to peanuts their life. I know I have allergies to many things. I won't go there again. Hopefully this review will get the owner's attention and she will do something about it. Also, hopefully this will keep someone from losing their life because of misrepresentation.
