When you say "mobile grooming service" I'm assuming you mean for your pets. If that's the case, then I always recommend Pooch Spa. See my review below for more information:
I highly recommend Pooch Spa as a mobile dog grooming company. They were recommended to us by our vet, Alpine Animal Clinic in Issaquah. We've been working with them for over a year now and will never take our dog to another groomer, especially not to a "brick and mortar" store.
Pooch Spa rolls up into our driveway at the designated time, picks up our feisty Maltese at the door, and whisks him away for an hour or so of grooming in their well-equipped van. He comes back clean and beautiful, with very few signs of stress. (When we used to take him to regular groomers, he always seemed to be on edge after a day of sitting in a cage alongside 20 other dogs.)
Note also that our dog has a special need that Pooch Spa handles with grace. He cannot have the neck harness around his neck, due to a collapsing trachea. They use a tummy strap instead and somehow manage to convince our little guy to stand still for the entire time he's with them.
For more information about them, go to their website, where you can find all their contact info:

Patsy has been coming to my house for the last two years, providing the best spa manicures and pedicures I have ever received. Her in-home spa services always include hand-shaped nails, cuticle maintenance, a warm foot soak, hand and foot exfoliation, yummy-smelling moisturizers, hand and foot massages, and one of the best collections of polish colors I have seen. (She is also known for her natural looking, hand-sculpted acrylic nails.) All this and she has a great personality and sense of humor, making me feel comfortable, relaxed, and beautiful even if I've spent the day doing the laundry and cleaning my bathrooms.
Patsy's prices are great too, considering the fact that I don't have to dress up, spend money on gas, and sit in traffic to go somewhere else. She comes to my house every three to four weeks to do a spa manicure and spa pedicure combination, which costs $80.
In talking with Patsy recently, I learned that she just recently added "office breaks" to her list of specialties. Apparently, she goes to offices to provide 15-minute mini manicures. And, she was even invited a while back to go to New York to do a City Councilman's wedding! It sure made me feel special to know that my fingers and toes are in the care of someone in such demand!
If you haven't guessed yet, I highly recommend Patsy's nail services, no matter what you're in the market for -- weddings, office breaks, in-home manicures and pedicures, spa parties -- she goes wherever she's needed. Even though she doesn't have a "headquarters", she does have a website where you can find out more about what all she does: www.patsysmobilenailspa.com.

My husband and I have been going to see Dr. Mark Hamilton for 6 years now. He is the most accurate optometrist either of us have ever been to, which is why, when he moved from Bellevue to Seattle, we followed him and continue to make the drive from Sammamish to Downtown Seattle every year for our check-ups.
We also love Kay, the optician at Dr. Hamilton's offices. She helps us pick out frames that work best, not only for our personal tastes, but also for the shapes of our faces, and she does a great job fitting them, once the lenses are ready.
Their offices are located in the Wells Fargo building on 2nd and Madison: 999 3rd Ave., 2nd Ave. Plaza
Seattle, WA 98104 and they can be reached at (206) 682-2020.

When my husband and I first moved to Sammamish from Minnesota, we noticed the unusual number of power outages in comparison to other places we've lived, so, being the gadget guru that he is, my husband immediately had a Kohler natural gas generator installed. When the power goes out, the generator automatically turns on, without us having to lift a finger. And, when the power returns, the generator turns off! The only thing it doesn't run is the oven and the dryer.
Unfortunately, the company that installed it went out of business, but the guy who installed our generator (Mike) went to work for D Square Energy Systems, Inc. (www.elitegenerators.com) in Issaquah. Now Mike maintains our generator, coming around a couple of times a year to take a look at it, making sure it's doing it's thing properly, and fixing anything that might be out of whack.
I would recommend giving D Square a call if you need installation of a natural gas generator. We've had great success with Mike especially.

Like others who have written about Precision Chiropractic, I got sucked into "the plan" and was told by the office manager that my health insurance did not cover it, so I would need to pay around $3000 up front to cover the costs of it. I did so, thinking everything was taken care of, only to find out that they were billing my health insurance as well and my insurance was covering it! In essence, they were getting paid *double* and had lied to me about my insurance covering it.
The other issue I had with this approach to chiropractic care was that, every now and then in my few months with Precision, I had to take a written "test" to see how well I had bought into the benefits of chiropractic care. It was a little weird to me that they would give their patients a written test.
Overall, I think Dr. Mike believes that what he is doing is beneficial to his patients. He's very zealous about his practice, but like others who have reviewed this busness, I feel he is taking advantage of his clients and that he approaches chiropractic care as if he's selling used cars. I would definitely not recommend Precision Chiropractic.

My husband and I have worked with a lot of Handymen in our 7 years here, but Andy Martin of AAA Handyman Services is the best (425-681-6543).
Andy is professional and highly skilled. He can build small-scale wood projects (like wine cabinets, bookcases, and cornices), he hangs blinds and drapes, he can do small electrical and plumbing fixes and installations -- he fixes just about any problem around the house. The only thing he doesn't do is paint.
We have been incredibly impressed with Andy since before we even knew him. He was recommended to us by a family who had a lot of cabinet-style work done. In one area, they had some major drywall detailing and woodwork done. It looks built-in and Andy did the whole thing. They also had some cabinets in their kitchen removed. He took one of the old cabinets and turned it into a wine shelf for them. It also looks built-in--like it was a part of the house from the beginning.
For us, he has done innumerable projects, including removing the ventilation system from under our stovetop, hanging ceiling-to-floor drapes, patching both drywall and wood framing, and shaved the bottom of a door that was dragging.
To top it all off, Andy's rates are better than others that we've seen. At $60 an hour, he comes in under what we've paid in the past -- and he shows up when he says he's going to and does high-quality work. He takes pride in what he does.

This will be my second year working with A Masquerade for the murder mystery party that I host annually. I'm returning because the service and quality I and my guests received last year was phenomenal. For example, last year, I needed a slew of costumes for nearly 30 men and women in all shapes and sizes from the 1920s Flapper/Gangster era. Kyra and staff came through with flying colors. My guests and I lined up and tried on pretty much every 1920s outfit in the shop -- and all the while, the staff at A Masquerade kept patience and even got as excited as we were, helping us find just the right touches for our costumes.
Also, because I host the event, I often am in need of certain props. Last year, Kyra rented me some amazing giant peacock feather fans that adorned the walls of the "speakeasy" I was creating. They were stunning. This year, Kyra and I have already been in touch planning what other props I might need to pull off a party with a pirate theme.
Have fun and get excited about your upcoming costume parties and events by going to A Masquerade (www.amasquerade.com). You can begin by searching their website, but definitely go check out all the goodies they have in their shop. You'll be amazed.

I host an annual murder mystery party for about 30 people. This means that at least once a year, I need to rent appropriate linens, glassware, tables, etc. in order to make it happen. I have worked with R&R now for 3 years on this party, as well as other events I have hosted, and I plan on working with them into the forseeable future.
They have a great website (www.rr-partyrentals.com) that allows me to explore the possibilities and, if I have any questions, they have always been incredibly helpful and prompt in responding. We've even had fun together planning unique uses for some of their equipment since sometimes the parties I host call for strange set-up.
I will say that I have never gone to R&R's warehouse without them knowing I was coming. I cannot comment on their office service without an appointment. But when I am on the books to be seen, they are friendly and easy to work with.
Their offered items are in good shape and of a quality I expect from a rental company.
R&R will deliver to the garage, but the rest is up to me. I believe you can pay extra for setup, although I've never done that. Everything they have is very easy to set up and take down, so I do it myself. (I've never had to set up tents or outdoor equipment.)
Finally, their prices are competitive to other rental companies in the area. The fact that they have pretty much everything available to look at on their website, their prompt responses to my questions, the quality of their items for rent, and the service I've received causes me to definitely recommend this company, if you're planning an event.

Dr. Huysing and his staff in Issaquah are so concerned about your comfort that even their website gives you a step-by-step on what to expect when you visit them as a patient (www.issaquahdentalarts.com).
My husband and I have been seeing them for regular, six-month cleanings for at least five years. We can't imagine going anywhere else. They never push unnecessary services or products, although if you request more information about something, they'll be happy to talk with you about options. I am uncertain as to what insurance they accept, but a quick call to Andrea will clear that up.
Before even getting in the dentist chair, you can sit in Dr. Huysing's office and ask any question that you need answered. Everyone at Issaquah Dental Arts is acutely aware of the anxiety most of us feel when we enter a dentist's office and their goal is to make it a pleasurable visit or, at the very least, one that leaves you feeling at ease.
Dr. Huysing and staff are incredibly gentle. They go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. Not only do they offer you TV glasses to watch while they're working, they check in with you throughout the cleaning or filling or what-have-you, to make sure you're still doing okay. My husband and I both have had fillings replaced or constructed, and throughout the procedures, Dr. Huysing told us exactly what he was going to do before he did it and let us know what to expect as the procedure went forward. (My husband, though, just watches TV using the glasses and he basically zoned out while they worked.)
If you have any issues going to the dentist, I highly recommend going to see Dr. Huysing.
You can call and make an appointment: (425) 837-0634. Or you can go online to their website (mentioned above) to register and make an appointment there.

Having grown up in Texas, I was slightly disappointed by the Mexican food offerings in the area, that is, until I found Su Casa in Issaquah. After a five year search, I was in dire need of some good Mexican food and, I assure you, Su Casa does not disappoint.
Annabelle and Robert, the owners, make this family friendly, casual restaurant feel like home. They're typically taking orders and doing the serving, alongside their children on any given afternoon or evening. Come in, find a place to sit and get ready for the best Mexican food in the Seattle metropolitan area.
Aside from their tasty salsa, which they bring to your table when you arrive, the Gordo plate is a big hit. It is a dish of homemade flour tortillas (YUM!) stuffed with two items of your choosing -- anything from chicken with cheddar cheese to their specialty, carne guisada with lettuce and tomato. You can also go vegetarian with this item by combining potatoes and onions or scrambled eggs with tomatoes. Any combo you like, and the list is long.
I have also heard that the fajitas and the tacos are a hit. I have no doubt that anything you try at Su Casa will exceed your expectations.
After you've stuffed yourself silly, try to fit the fried ice cream in the little space you have left. It's scrumptious!
Enjoy!
