This nail place has a great location, inside Stonestown Mall, and has all the amenities you are looking for. If I weren't looking to be upsold the suggestions that I should get my eyebrows waxed might be annoying to me, but in this case I wanted to do them anyway, so within 40 min. I had had a pedicure, a manicure and my eyebrows waxed! They are really nice and in a convenient location.

Apparently this restaurant was sold, because it now has a new name. I went when it was called First Watch and I wasn't impressed. I had blueberry pancakes that were pretty flavorless. It is a very popular place but I'm not sure why. Probably because it is the only brunch place in downtown San Mateo. I'd go to another city if I needed a place for brunch, like Stack's in Burlingame or Hobee's in Redwood Shores. This isn't worth it.

I have done WW about 7 times before in my life and have lost weight, but I have never gotten to lifetime. I'm not sure if it will work this time -- it's weird, because I feel like I know the program so why bother, but on the other hand, I am at my wit's end and I know it's worked in the past. I'm just so tired lately, getting older, and in the worst shape of my life.
WW is better than other weight loss plans (so they tell you) because they teach you how to deal with the "real world" and the food in it. I have done the best when I have gone to more than one meeting a week -- if you pay once that week, you can go to as many meetings in that week as you want. I need to get energized about it, so I'm going to go at least twice a week, and maybe just "hang out" there!

I've been curious about this place because of its convenient location and distinctive look, so I finally stopped by today. The hot dog buns weren't that exciting, the dogs were pretty good as well...

This is the best Chuck E Cheese in the Peninsula. It is very large, and can be relatively uncrowded if you go near opening. It is a nice place to stop by during the overly warm or rainy seasons....
This is the best Chuck E Cheese in the Peninsula. It is very large, and can be relatively uncrowded if you go near opening. It is a nice place to stop by during the overly warm or rainy seasons. Every kid gets a free token when you come in. They used to charge more, but now every attraction is one token, which makes it really fun. They have the plastic tunnels and slides the kids can play in as well. You really can come in and spend no money, if you want to, but of course they want you to spend money.
The birthday parties are also nice, but you don't get to spend quality time with your guests. They have a really good cake!

I haven't liked the new location of Creative Hands because it is hard to get through -- the shelves are too close together and the featured yarns are not the best ones, like they were at the last...
I haven't liked the new location of Creative Hands because it is hard to get through -- the shelves are too close together and the featured yarns are not the best ones, like they were at the last location. (At least not my favorites.) However, they do have front and center their sale section, which makes it very easy to find something cheap!

I don't love the Disney store, but when I'm forced to go in there by the kids I always find some great deals. Apparently they always have sales, and you can find some pretty good ones regularly. I like the little toys because they are the most economical, but you can also get full priced CDs and DVDs and clothes with tons of logos on them (shouldn't they pay you to wear all that crap?). As I said, I don't choose to go in, but I do end up buying something most times.
