The New Hope & Ivyland railroad is a historic steam train. The inside is restored to look as it did in the 1920's. The train takes you on a short ride, back and forth. There was actually a movie filmed there in 1914 called "Perils of Pauline." You also see a house where Art Garfunkel once lived. Sometimes on holidays they have special dining car rides. Tickets for regular rides cost around $11, which I think is rather steep for such a short ride. I would suggest doing it once, though.

The Nut Kettle makes their very own foods right in front of you. They have specialty Kettle Korn, which is popcorn with several types of nuts and toffy. Everything is made with pure ingredients. My favorite thing to buy there is the almond butter. That is all natural as well. It's perfect to dip apples in. They also make their own peanut butter. You don't need to leave home to purchase it, you can give them a call and they will ship you what you need.

The Paper Chase is my favorite store at Peddler's Village. It is also the largest store there. They have all kinds of cards, wrapping paper, gifts, stationery, ribbons, and much more. My favorite part of the store is the clearance room. I usually always find something in there for a low price to buy and save as a Christmas or Birthday gift for someone. They can also special order things for you if they don't have what you're looking for.

The New York Hall of Science is located in Queens. The staff was very nice and helpful because we had a problem with a pass we had and they straightened it out for us. They have 2 floors and a lot of it consists of exhibits on atoms and molecules. For children and science enthusiasts they would probably love it. As for me, I would have liked to see more.

This is a pretty cool museum. The building actually used to be a production studio. Most of the exhibits are hands on and give you a chance to work behind the scenes. You can do a voice over for movies like The Wizard of Oz and Babe. They also have old film memorabilia. There are 3 floors! They also have an exhibit with lots of old computers and video game consoles showing the evolution of the computer/video game.

The rooms at Trump Plaza could use some updating, they don't feel as "new" as they used to. The casino is quite large and is on different floors. The best thing is that they have an entire room that is all non-smoking. That room also has a bar and some tv screens. The buffet isn't the greatest, but they do have a few good restaurants. They recently added a Rainforest Cafe and a Starbucks. Even if you don't eat there, you check out the Rainforest cafe. It's pretty cool looking.

Caesar's is my favorite casino. The lobby itself is a sight to be seen. They have a lot of large statues of Caesar and other romans. The ceiling is painted to look like the sky with clouds. There are some hotel room which have a window overlooking the lobby. As always, ask for a room in a newer tower. Most of the rooms are very nice. They have some nice restaurants and a buffet. The casino is large and they have a non-smoking section.

The Showboat has a mardi gras feel, complete with beaded necklaces and music. Some of the hotel rooms look a bit old, so request to be put in a newer room. I'm not crazy about the casino itself, they have no non-smoking section which is a problem for me. They also have a bowling alley. The one thing I really love about Showboat is the buffet they have. It is huge. They have seafood, Italian, Chinese, American food, a salad bar, a dessert bar, and a cappucino machine. It is expensive if you don't have a comp or coupon but it is worth it. The lines can be very long, so go early or late.

Ripley's Believe it or not has a ton of really cool things. There are optical illusions, shrunken heads, torture devices, and quite a few things you can participate in. The building itself looks like it is in a sinkhole which is pretty neat. The admission price is over $15, but you can usually find a coupon. I would absolutely check it out at least once.
