We have had great luck with this practice. My son is a frequent visitor after having a ton of ear infections and then later being diagnosed with asthma. They never have a problem getting him an appointment the day he needs it and we usually have our choice of which doctor we see. The front desk staff are exceptional.
We love Dr Reese! I wish she was there full time instead of part-time as it is hard when your child is sick on her day off.
They have their pros and cons just like any office, but overall their good points far outweight their bad points.
Pros: Great location, nice staff, easy to get into the same day for emergencies.
Cons: Some of the nurses have a language barrier which makes it hard to ask detailed questions. If they don't understand what you are asking it's hard to get an answer and on numerous occasions we have not gotten an answer. I end up calling back and hoping someone else answers the phone.
One of the doctors does have a very bad bedside manner. She does not treat you or your child very nicely if she thinks you are wasting her time and this is more annoying when the nurse on the phone insisted that your child had to be seen by a doctor when all you were asking was some simple questions. Perhaps instead of telling the parents that they shouldn't have come in, she (the doctor) should consider going over what is a reasonable reason to be seen by the doctors with her staff nurses.
