Union Station Hotel used to be a train depot. They kept the same theme and turned it into a luxury hotel. It's gorgeous! The rooms are beautiful and have a vintage feel to them, but offer all the amenities you need. In the morning, breakfast is offered free in the restaraunt area and at night, you can enjoy fine dining. This place is pricey but worth it.

If you are making a local move, you need these guys to come help you. They will show up at your house with their truck and help you pack, then load everything on the truck and move on down the road. The guys are great and are very careful. We used them when we moved to Nashville and nothing was damaged or broken. When they unload, they will place objects in the rooms you want. We'll be using them again.

Sprintz has been locally owned for over fifty years. The showroom is huge and the furniture selection is fantastic. The specialize in Thomasville, Henredon and other well-made brands. They have a lot of catalogs that you can flip through and order from if you don't see what you want in the showroom. The salespeople are a little annoying and make you feel like you are being followed, but they are helpful when you are buying something.
