Chen's China Inn has the best Chinese food in Lufkin and the area. You can go in there anytime of day and get a complete meal with a drink for $5.00. I always get the sweet and sour chicken meal and it comes with about 6 large pieces of chicken, a huge thing of rice and two egg rolls. I always get extra rice and no egg roll and they are happy to do so. They also bring these chip like things out while you are waiting on your meal and they are great. I have heard the Pepper Steak and Sesame Chicken is also great but I don't really try new things so I am not sure.
This restaurant is great. It is in a nice clean building, has great people working there, great prices, and very very good food. I also love to get the fortune cookies after my meal. I can go there with my gf and we both get the same thing. We can eat there for under $12.00 and it's great. It's a cheap complete meal and it's way better and filling than McDonald's or something.
If you're ever in the area go try it out. You will be pleased.
