I have had some good work done at Tattoo Evolution but I know last time I was in there, it seemed like everyone had changed. This is pretty typical in the tattoo/piercing world though.

I admit, I haven't been to Lynnwood Tattoo for awhile...this is mostly because my favorite piercer for years, left ages ago and my favorite tattoo artist for years left as well. I have had some great work done at Lynnwood and some absolutely horrible work done there as well. I had a set of shoulder pieces done at one point that went so badly, I ended up paying double to get them fixed by someone who really knew what they were doing. I know it all has to do with who you get to do your work but proceed with caution. They have friendly people, are very on top of cleanliness and a nice jewelry selection.

My eldest daughter is an artist...she has been designing a tattoo sleeve for me but I needed to find someone to actually do the work for me. I was apprehensive when I went to Top Tattoo. It would seem every time I find a tattoo artist I really like, they leave. I have several tattoos but once again, was without someone I could trust. I went to Top and the first guy I spoke with thought he could do the final drawing for the artwork but then it just wasn't going well for him so, to his credit, instead of just going ahead and botching the job, he passed to someone he thought could do the job well. This is how I met Greg Colligan. He was fast, professional and did a wonderful job. I can't say enough good things about my overall experience at Top Tattoo.
Later I stopped in to buy an O ring for one of my ear plugs. I keep losing the stupid things >.< Anyways, I was up for a pleasant surprise to find that one of my piercer friends is now working at Top! Brett makes piercing a spiritual experience that is good for the soul! He doesn't believe in needle rape but instead waits patiently for your body to open up and accept the piercing. Brett rocks!

I actually attended Greenwood Academy as an Esthetics student and loved my time there. Many colorful and creative students, great prices and watchful instructors. I never got my hair done there...
I actually attended Greenwood Academy as an Esthetics student and loved my time there. Many colorful and creative students, great prices and watchful instructors. I never got my hair done there although my daughter did and it looked really good. I have received many facials from fellow students at the school and most of them were fabulous...keep an eye out for Justin, Kelsey, Margie and Suzie...new up and comers with tons of talent!
