The woman working the front desk at Comfort Inn was very rude. When we arrived on the 28th of April there were only two rooms available, (smoking-double and a non-smoking suite). We asked for the suite and gave her our card. The woman handed it back to us and said snootily while turning up her nose that it didn't work. My husband asked her to try again and she said. "It won't work." And he said to try it anyway. She did and handed the card back to us saying that it didn't. After giving us a bad look and smiling smugly she turned her back on us. My husband then pulled out his wallet, which was filled with cash. She didn't care. She still acted like she wanted us to leave, giving us looks that made the point she didn't think we even belonged there. And I told her that I had deposited over $2000 in my account. She said, "Well it usually takes a few days for it to post." And I then informed her that I had deposited the money a week prior. An hour later we paid our bill at Landry's Seafood with my debit card. A few hours before arriving at Comfort Inn we paid for gas using our card at a Quick Trip. I contacted my bank and they said there had been no problems with my card. The b*tch was lying because she didn't want us there but I made a complaint about her the next day. And I will file a complaint with the BBB as well as with Choice Hotels.

We ate at Landry's 2 weeks ago. I had the burger, which was partially burned and my husband ate the filet mignon. His steak had to be sent back because despite asking for well done, they sent the meat out almost rare. (He has cancer and cannot eat rare meat). When he finally did recieve his steak he said it was the worst he has ever eaten. The fries were cold as was his baked potato. The best things about the place was the view, (we ate outside on the deck), and the salad. We paid around $55 for our meals and they absolutely sucked. The decor of the place apparently is supposed to make up for it.

Great Food. I tried the grouper sandwich and it was delicioso. My husband had the salmon and loved it. Go to the Bass Pro Shop and try this restaurant. Bad thing is the waitresses seem to flirt with all the guys. But there is a nice view overlooking the small lake/pond whatever you wish to call it.

Friendly. We found their food to be bland except for the sauerkraut. The shrimp appetizer was yummy but my husband had trouble with the chopsticks:) We paid over $65 so... it really wasn't worth it....

I decided to check out my credit report and found that someone had apparently opened several accounts in my name. Then I started to receive harassing letters and phone calls. Sometimes I would receive 11 or 12 calls a day telling me that if I didn't pay off "my" loans then serious and drastic action would be taken against me. I even have had a student loan counsilor come to my home. I called Sallie Mae and the other company, (Student Loan Corp), that were harassing me and told them that they had the wrong person. They had different ss#'s, different middle initials but my address and my phone number. I called the police...who did absolutely nothing. I contacted the BBB in Indianapolis and they did nothing. It took well over half a year before the phone calls and letters stopped. (Until I threatened to throw a lawsuit at them.) I would give them no stars.

I don't necessarily like the idea of gay marriage because of my faith but I am nobody to judge anyone. That is for God. While I probably wont shop at Wal-Mart anyway on black friday because of the stressful crowds and surety of even worse customer service I feel it is their right to donate where they want to because it is technically their money once it leaves my pocket. ((Although there are far better causes that could benefit.))

When I first got SBC they started charging me for long distance...even though I had never made any calls anywhere out of the area. One bill was over $500. Since then they have accused me of making one other long distance call to a bank or something...in OKC. SBC would not tell me who the call was made to...because they needed a passcode to access whatever company it is they think i called. Of course, I have been id thefted so that might have been part of the whole thing...who knows? Nyway...the past 5 or 6 months everything has gone smoothly. Absolutely no problems...so far.

I paid my bill this month, checked my bank acct just to make sure but apparently t-mobile is saying i didn't pay. funny i'm still out over $87. tried calling customer service but they were unavailable. and i get charged for messages even they send me.

I had to travel Greyhound while 8 months pregnant and I had only my 2-year old daughter with me. It was from Daytona Beach to Tulsa. I was scared to death, especially when we had a layover in Atlanta for 4 hours. Being the ONLY caucasion in the terminal out of about 150 other people made me feel weird to put it mildly. And while somewhere in Georgia, (before we reached Atlanta), our bus was pulled over by the police who then proceeded to let drug dogs on board and then the police let the dogs sniff our luggage. I had a terrible toothache at the time and all I could think about was, "come on. come on."
After boarding the bus, (which was completely packed), at around 3am and heading to Memphis I got into a fight with a woman who wanted to take my daughter's seat and who was thrown off. We then reached Memphis at daybreak. I tried to call my family to make sure I had a ride and could not get in touch with anyone.
Then we got on the bus again and had a different driver who wanted everyone to be silent, no talking at all. He stopped the bus in the middle of the highway and threw his hat down. Then he proceeded to walk down the steps yelling about how he was going home and everyone could do something or other. A few minutes later he came back to the bus, picked up his hat, dusted it off and started driving again.
We showed up in Tulsa an hour and a half late. It was a cold, February night and drizzling. I was so happy to see my mom I cried.
To pay $250+ on a trip that went like that is as crazy as the driver was. My brother travelled by Greyhound as well and they lost all of his luggage. Never again will I travel by Greyhound.

When my hubby was diagnosed last year I started on a search for any answers I could find for the thousands of questions I had about his disease. The LLS greatly helped me through a lot of my fears and they send myself and my hubby little pamphlets through the mail sometimes that we will read and put us at ease. There is no cure for leukemia but to stay informed is the best option patients have got.
