My husband and I stayed out a Salish Lodge for a weekend last spring and was disappointed with our experience. For the amount of money we spent, the experience was just mediocre. I have stayed in much nicer hotels/resorts for a lot less money and had better experiences. We had a couples hot stone massage which was good and had a nice room with a fire place and jacuzzi tub, but it just wasn't outstanding which is what we were expecting for the price. We ate dinner in the Attic which is the "lounge" and the food was totally average. Overall a disappointing way to spend a getaway.

If you haven't already discovered it, Orrapin Thai Cuisine is the best Thai food in the city. This is our favorite place to go not only because the food is so amazing, but the service is stellar as well. We have tried the Tom Kah Gai soup, Cashew Chicken, Panang Curry, Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Oyster Beef and Kee Mao Noodles. Without a doubt, the best around! Every time we go somewhere else and have similar dishes, we are always disappointed now that we have experienced Orrapin.

My husband and I had dinner here the other Tuesday night and the food was delicious. I had a mixed green salad and the halibut and the flavors of the sauces around the fish were so good. My husband had the cesar salad and pork (chops, I think). The pork was so tender and had great flavor.
The back corner of the restaurant is this wall that changes color - cool, in theory, but totally distracting during dinner. The colors are really intense so when it turns red, everyone turns red. This is the only element they should change.
Overall, great experience. Our server was friendly and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

I have been going to Travis and Salon Dewi (day-wee) for almost a year now and wouldn't go anywhere else for waxing. I've had both regular bikini waxing and Brazilian waxing done and the experience was great. I was a bit nervous going to a male waxer but he really put me a ease and did a great job. The salon is great - small and intimate. I even got a complementary shoulder and neck massage while waiting for my appointment one day!

I hired Ringo Landscaping and Gardening to do mowing and edging, weeding, spraying and to lay bark. He said he could come do the job but not until about a week and a half later. We were totally amazed and delighted when he called me on Saturday - 4 days before the arranged date - and said he drove by the house and noticed that the grass was too long so he decided to do the work that day! His team did an amazing job on the yard and we are so pleased with the work. I have been doing the yard work since we bought our house 3 years ago and the flower beds and edging has never looked better.
I would recommend them to anyone for their outstanding service and through work.

I have been going to see Psyche at Gary Manuel Salon for about 5 years and absolutely love it every time. It is on the spendy side but worth it because I've been to other places that are cheaper but I never like my hair as much. Psyche gives the best head massages during the wash that always make me feel so great.
I just recently recommended her to a friend with very different hair than mine (no color, short hair) and she had a fabulous experience and will go back again.
