Medina Nails has coupons in the mail every week. So I decided to go, with a coupon for a pedicure and manicure for $25. On a Friday afternoon, I had to wait about 10 minutes, but it wasn't bad. My pedicure was relaxing, with some good foot massaging and a big massage chair. The manicure was nothing special, but only $5 more (coupon was for $20 pedicure) and worth it.

The cost of cleaning all the carpet in my house was about $10 more than the estimated amount - which I thought was pretty good. The cleaner arrived on time. He cleaned all the carpet in about 2 hours. The carpet took about two hours to dry and was very clean. Overall a good experience, respectful service, and reasonable prices. Plus, you can support a locally owned and operated business.

I started getting Pioneer Organics bi-weekly delivery about 3 months ago. Although they have some non-local produce, it is all organic. The big thing for me is the ability to choose what is in your box. When you first sign up, you select items that you do not want to ever receive. For your delivery, PO auto-selects items for you, but you receive an "order-up!" email and have about 5 days to change/add any items. You can also have recurring items if you want something particular in every delivery. The bi-weekly small box has been good for my husband and me...just when we run out, a new delivery arrives! The produce always tastes great, and the convenience is fantastic.

My husband and I went to the 2nd Avenue location of Ian's and it was a great experience. The items were a bit pricey, but most of the store was on sale. My husband is small, and department store smalls are usually a bit big on him. Ian had a great selection of slimmer cut, fitted shirts. The sales clerk, Butch, helped us find what we were looking for. We will definetely go back!
