Byron's -- home of the Dogzilla. I really enjoyed the look of this place when we rolled up on it, all red, black and grey -- didn't look like a place to get a dog as much as an auto repairshop or something. The inside layout has hardly changed from its starting days in 1975, so you can get a slice of nostalgia with your greasy spoon fare. The dogs are done up like salads -- the pies are loaded with cheese & pepperoni. And no mere bread roll can hold in the Italian beef. Stop in if you're passing by -- good, cheap grub in a quirky setting.
