We enrolled our son in this program for his first swimming lessons. The teacher seemed very nice, and he was put into a group of 4 kids. Unfortunately, the teacher didnt seem to have a lot of experience with teaching swimming or working with kids. Severa times, I had to inform her of my son doing things he wasnt supposed to be doing, which involved him going underwater and swimming around when he couldnt even swim. There just wasnt enough attention, and for all the money we paid for the 6 weeks, he learned nothing.

This is a neat store. I dont go here with a purpose, because you never know what you will find! They emphasize gardening, with plants, flowers, and a really nice selection of pots. The prices on these items are very reasonable, and coupons are often found in your local paper. They sell other odds and ends as well, with Christmas time being the best time of the year to find all the things you didnt know you need, but bought anyway!

This is a very off the wall shoe store. It has a great location, right in the middle of the Irvine Spectrum, and it gets a lot of traffic. I have shopped here with my sister, and never found anything I could actually be seen wearing in public. The shoes are very trendy, but in very loud fashion. The prices are really high, and most shoes I looked at were around the 100.00 price which is more than I usually spend.

From the outside, this restaurant might look like a vacant building. It doesnt seem to attract a lot of attention here on Tustin Avenue, but its been open several years, so some people have found it and liked it! This place makes it easy to take out kids for Mexican food. You order from a large menu behind the counter, then when your order is up, they bring it to your table. While you are waiting, you are given multicolored tortilla chips and salsa which is always tasty. The food isnt exactly amazing, but its better than a lot of local Mexican faire in the lower price range. They have a nice, large parking lots, plenty of highchairs for those dining with small children, and the service has always been prompt and friendly.

If you like Thai food, then this should be on your list of places to eat. Its located where Crysal Court used to be. Now its just on the Macy's home store side of South Coast Plaza. Its on the very top floor, and if you eat outside you get a nice view. The decor here is very simple. Lots of black and white. I like that when you sit down, the waiter comes and immediately puts your napkin in your lap and exchanges your plate for a new, fresh one. The menu is full of awesome choices with delicious appetizers and Thai drinks. My personal favorite mneu items are the Thai Sticks which come with beef sticks, pork sticks, and chicken sticks. It comes with peanut sauce on top of them, and cucumber sauce on the side. This is soooo good. I usually then order the Pud Thai which can be ordered as mild or as spicy as you want. They have a scale from 1-10 and all items come as you request it to be. Beware. If you order it spicy (over a 6), your food will actually be spicy!!!!

Charo Chicken is a terrific place to get really well spiced chicken with fresh sides to go with it. The menu is wide, and you can get all sorts of combo meals either to eat there, or to take home. The tortillas are always soft and taste really fresh. I think the prices are good for what you get. If you're a chicken lover, you will need to try this. Nothing fried or unhealthy, and my order is always perfect as I ordered it.

Okay. I give up. I really dont see the appeal of this pizza place. The food is really mediocre tasting, and I think the prices are too high for what you get. At this particular Z pizza, you really have to take your pizza home, or eat outside if you can get a spot. Forget getting a spot at peak lunch time by the way. My kids will eat this though, and I have been known to get one piece of pizza (they do sell single pieces as well) and cut it in half for them. Then my husband and I go somewhere else to eat. If this was your ONLY pizza option..okay. But its not all that great, and Mob Town pizza is around the corner and its better.

I Love this restaurant!!!!! I always tell myself I should try new things since everything looks so good, but I always end up getting the chicken lettuce wraps and the asian chicken with jasmine rice. The lettuce wraps come with three different sauces (all are delicious) and the chicken comes in a large tostada shell that we always end up eating too! The kids menu here is decently priced, and the kids get dessert with it as well, which is somewhat rare at restaurants anymore. Though it can be loud here since they are also a bar, the atmosphere is really fun, and I always have a great time!

My husband introduced me to this tiny little sandwich shop, and Im so glad! This places makes the best sandwiches I have had. They have every kind of meat you could want, with all the different breads and cheeses to choose from. The owner is really nice, and the friendly service just adds to the positive experience. What could be better than getting a delicious sandwich and taking it to the beach to eat??
