I bought the previewed DVDs and when I got home the DVD case was empty. I called them and got to choose another one with no hassle.

I was speechless when I went to the room. I thought to myself that a $84 hotel room couldn't be so bad. And it looked okay from the outside.

First of all their customer service is pretty bad. They are not happy and sigh endlessly.. but the WORSE part was:
The bathroom was so filthy, the toilet had stains all over it. Bathtub was gray. And to top all that off: I pull off the covers and I saw stained yellow pillowcases with all this hair on it. And the hairs looked like they were from different people. The sheets were "OFF white" and I was repulsed. The towels had gray dirt marks like they cleaned with them and then left them for your use.
I called the front desk, she said oh yea, let me see if I can bring some sheets for you to change.
And the only good thing is that she agreed to give me a refund so hopefully we will see when the bill comes.
STAY AWAY! I cannot believe the filth they leave their rooms in? AHHH!

I found the best one. Holiday Inn always lives up to my expectations. I really like this one. Their beds are similiar to the Sheratons.

Plus they have a military rate! I got our room for $109/night when it would have been $199/night.

I'm visiting the DE area and called some last minute hotels.
They were really nice on the phone and the owners seem like good people but they had one room left. And looked like a storage room...

And they were asking for $75 per night. I wouldn't sleep there if it was free.
Nice owners. Not so great place

Because it's located in busy Chinatown in Manhattan, it's difficult to transport all the goods you purchased. But it is stacked with a lot of groceries.
Kitchenware, dried herbs, roasted...

Kitchenware, dried herbs, roasted meats, teas.. everything but fresh fruits and veggies. But you can get those anywhere around CHinatown.

This is the biggest Asian supermarket in Brooklyn and it's conveniently located on the 8th Avenue strip. You can take the N train there. You can drive there as well. But it's pretty rare you...
This is the biggest Asian supermarket in Brooklyn and it's conveniently located on the 8th Avenue strip. You can take the N train there. You can drive there as well. But it's pretty rare you will find parking in the evenings and on weekends.
It has almost every Asian product I can think of and other ethnic products as well. I can find my sofrito and fish balls in one supermarket. Kitchen items as well. Very reasonable prices! Accepts credit/debit!

Great place to take someone out for dinner. I love the beef basil. The dishes have gotten smaller throughout the years, but it's pretty good.

Last night my pad thai was rushed and the noodles were still rubbery. The shrimp spring rolls are not worth it, try their honey pork.

They are so nice in there. Enjoy the busy scene outside if you get one of the three seats available. Your best bet is to take it to go!
