What happened brothers? Your restaurant used to be full of life! Great food - dancing - stiff drinks and hot sauce that would put the fear of god inya.
Tonights limp pork and bland fish was a mere shell of its previous incarnation. Also, why are the mojito glasses stacked on the counter? They used to be nicely chilled in the fridge. The hot sauce was as weak as the drinks...
Boo hoo. The love is gone.

Artech is the best place in town for framing, art handling and other services. It's pretty much the only place that offers such a high level of quality, not just in Seattle, or even in Washington, they're one of the best in the nation. Really. They're passionate and they hire local artists.

Over the last two years this video store continues to improve. They've added a foreign and festival selections right next to the front door! Hooray! Large batches of popular films arrive on schedule and the staff seems to know what they're talking about. Much credit goes to "Kaspar" the in-store expert who curates his own film festival. Let's hope they add more documentary, more independent and more non-commercial selections from the ever expanding world of cinema.
Great prices, fair late fees, friendly staff.

Of all the miserable Chinese restaurants in Shoreline (and there are many) this is the p-KING. If you like slow service, grease soaked food-coloring infused noodles with a side of uncleaned shrimp, you'll still be put off by the sticky tables and seats. Skip it, or just hit the bar, that's why the parking lot is full.

Is it a diner? Is it a restaurant? Is it a bar? This place needs an identity. A one time car-hop, somewhat transformed into a pizza / gyro / subs / burger depot / sports bar. The dining room is noisy and echo-y, they don't have beer on tap, and they typically only have about half of the beers displayed on hand. Good hand cut fries tho... Won't someone please open a brew pub in North City so that Suni's can go back to being a car hop.

--- Where everyone knows your name (even after only one visit).
This hometown tavern is as real, honest and sincere as it gets. It's like a piece of Seattle history nicely preserved in Shoreline. Sure, it's a dive, but that's the charm! As Seattle's classic joints turn into hipster habitats, Shoreline's North City Tavern is keeping it real as it welcomes the hard-working citizens of the North Country.
Great tap selection, cheap prices and generous helpings of warm salty nuts. Most enthusiastic Karaoke in town.
