Gay Bingo is AWESOME!!!! These folks put the FUN in fundraising!

We went to the recent January 2007 version of Gay Bingo, a major fundraising event for Lifelong Aids Alliance. What a BLAST! Jill G of JB invited us and we brought along a group of friends too. Watching drag queens, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and all the crazy bingo players made for a very entertaining Saturday night.
Having lost my cousin to AIDS when we were both 25 I am a big supporter of many non-profits working in AIDS related fields. If you've ever considered providing support this is a great way to do it. Not only do you get to hang out with friends, eat some good food (simple fare but good) and have drinks you will be immensely entertained. Oh, and bring earplugs because it is LOUD.
Each month brings a new theme so be prepared! January was "superhero" night and there were some fabulous costumes. I can't wait for February...
