The deep dish is not so classic to me

Saturday, June 24, 2006
I find it hard to believe that this restaurant was THE inventor of Chicago style pizza. I personally like many other places around the city a lot better for pizza. Their classic deep dish pizza just has a super thick crust that is full of grease and is super heavy on the stomach. That heavy crust is then topped with oodles of thick cheese that can be hard to swallow at times. They do have a thin crust pizza that I do like a lot better. It is much lighter and since there is not soo much cheese, you can enjoy their fresh toppings on this one.
