I love Firefly's! I first ate at Firefly's in Marlborough and loved the food at the original location. When I found the location in Framingham, I was ecstatic! The atmostphere is fun and the wait staff personable and very efficent. It is almost always very busy with long lines out the door! On Saturday nights, there is live acoustic music at 9 p.m.
Monday - Friday, there is a luncheon all-you-can-eat buffet that features pulled pork, pulled beef, pork ribs, brisket, fried chicken, bbq chicken, sauteed veggies, mac and cheese, and lots more. Affordable and delicious. A work friend and I go eat here a lot. I get the buffet and she gets one of their delicious hamburgers with all the fixin's.
Their menu is chockful of delicious bbq items. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Rainbow Buffet is a Giant Chinese Buffet. It is affordable and has all the usual Chinese food selections and a lot more. I was impressed by the amount of food, but disappointed to see that there was only one other couple in the diningroom besides us! We came to eat at 7:00 p.m. on a week night, but the restaurant remained empty practically the whole time we were there. That is not a good sign for a buffet restaurant! All-in-all, the we found the food to be mediocre and won't return there.

I was very impressed with Pacific Buffet when I first ate here, but over time I have grown to dislike this restaurant. It seems that everytime I come here the food under the heat lamps is either lukewarm or cold. There is plenty of food to choose from, but it is the same variety everytime. My company takes us out to lunch at Pacific Buffet every other month and I've grown tired of the food. I would not eat here on my own expense.

This is the place to go if you crave sushi and want to try different varieties. I dined at Minado Japanese Seafood Buffett Restaurant about 3 weeks ago for the first time and was totally bowled over by the variety and freshness of the sushi. I have never been able to fill up on sushi because of the price, but here for one set price you can eat sushi to your heart's delight.
If you aren't a fan of the raw fish there are lots of cooked seafood, meat and vegetable dishes along with salads, crepes, soups and desserts. It isn't your typical Asian Buffet, though. I have been to Minado's 2 times and have yet to see eggrolls, pad thai, spareribs, etc. Also, soda and tea are $1.50 with free refills.
I am a big fan of their Miso Soup and especially like a cold salad of wild greens, mandarin oranges, almonds and a wonderful sweet dressing. The desserts are different, too. Little green tea cakes, blueberry custard cups and the like. There is also green tea, ginger, strawberry and chocolate ice cream.
Lots of fresh fruit and jello, too.
Restaurant is very clean and wait staff polite and efficient. It is a bit pricey for dinner, esp. on weekends and holidays. Lunch is more affordable. The restaurant is very popular and on weekends there is a waiting list.

And you can ask for a piece with the bone, so you can bring the bone home to your dog! The Pleasant also serves up excellent chicken parm, baked shrimp, juicy porkchops and lots of comfort food. Side dishes are vegetables (changes daily), potato (baked, mashed or french fried), rice, pasta, or salad. You get your choice of two. I didn't think their pizza was that good, but most diners think otherwise because 2 out of 4 have it as their main course. Very affordable restaurant and waitresses for the most part are friendly and efficient.

I've been dining at the New Bridge Cafe for 5+ years. They have the BEST grilled Steak Tips! Their grilled lamb tips are fantastic, too. Great side dishes like rice pilaf florentine and homemade ziti and sauce. If you like french fries, you have to try theirs. First off, they are huge. Secondly, they are deep fried. They also served Italian dishes and from what I've seen on other diners plates, the food looks great. But I haven't been able to order anything but the Steak Tips! Great price, too!!
