Not bad. I received a $50 gift card for this Tex Mex restaurant, so my husband and I decided to check it out. We were very pleased. Yummy nachos, delicious tacos, and awesome bean burritos. All in a friendly, fun environment. I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for an inexpensive, down-to-earth meal. We even had $15 left on the card after having drinks, dinner, and dessert!

Gu Gu Ga Ga is a small kiosk in the mall that sells dog clothing, leashes, bowls, collars, and gourmet treats. And I have to say, this specialty cart is adorable. So, if you feel like pampering your pooch, stop by Gu Gu Ga Ga located on the Lower Level of Tyson’s Corner, near Fashion Court. Buy him that frog costume he's always wanted.

Looking for that power suit? How about a comfortable cashmere sweater. Well, here’s just the place. Along the lines of Jos. A. Bank (but even more expensive and elegant) lies Brooks Brothers. Brooks Brothers carry upscale clothing for the well-dressed man. Tasteful suites, polos, and sweaters are what you will find in this shop in Tyson’s Corner. The well-coifed staff is always willing to lend a hand (I think that’s because they work on commission for pricey items. But hey, that’s just my opinion). Their clothing may be expensive, but it’s worth it. The suits are always stylish and wear very well. The ties and accessories actually look like they cost a small fortune, which they indeed do. Just ask my husband.

I like this place. I remember back in the day when it was just "White House. "But now I am happy that they added shades of blacks to their apparel line. Anyway, the store’s name says it all. If you are looking for a white or black dress or outfit, atop by the store in Tyson's Corner. Many times I have been disappointed by their selections, but other times I have been absolutely thrilled. Like the time I bought a fabulous black cocktail gown for $50. Let me tell you, when they have sales, they really put things on sale! The staff is always nice and the store also carry jewelry to match your white or black ensemble.

Let’s be honest. If you are looking for a quality-stitch tie, look elsewhere. These are the cheapest ties on the market. And well, they kind of look and feel it. But if you want to purchase a couple of ties to wear to family functions, a change of dress, of just for fun (a tie with Homer Simpson always cracks me up), then check out the Tie Rack.

Ahhhh… Auntie Anee’s Soft Pretzels, a little piece of heaven in a cheap waxed bag. I love these hand-rolled pretzels. I think I just may be able to live off of them. I’m not nuts! They are a whole bunch to choose from: you got original, maple crumb, cinnamon sugar, sour cream and onion, garlic, parmesan herb, whole wheat and more. Plus, different flavors of dipping sauces. You know which one I always order? Guess. I always get the original, NO butter. Hey, I have to fit into a bikini at the end of the month! So, head to Section F: Upper Level to get your pretzel. Notice that I know exactly where it is in this huge mall. I know. Pathetic. Sigh… I could use a pretzel right now.

If you’ve been to one Sunglass Hut, then you have been to them all. It’s a cool little shop, but I have noticed that when a particular style of sunglasses is “in,” that’s all they will carry. For instance, the big sunglasses look is the new thing. You know, when the glasses take up half your face and the rest of your face is just there looking naked. Well, that’s all well and good if you can pull it off. Me… I can’t pull it off. Just give me my tortoise-shell shades (that I constantly loose) and I’m done with it. . I don’t know what it is with me. I’m sure that this is a great place. I mean the atmosphere is cool, the bar is cool, even the people hanging out here seemed cool. I just wasn’t impressed with the food. But that’s just me. Maybe I should give up on tapas all together. After all if I didn’t like this place, which is an authentic Spanish restaurant, maybe tapas just aren’t for me. However, if you enjoy real paella and strong sangria. you’ll like La Tasca. My husband did.
