"But It's a *Dollar* For a *Pound*!"

Thursday, June 01, 2006
A lot of college freshman discover Dollar a Pound. Shortly thereafter, a lot of college freshman discover "My Closet is Only So Big and I Will Never Ever (Ever) Wear These Plaid Overalls (No, Really)." Dollar a Pound is one of the purest expressions I know of the principle of trading time for money. The clothes are literally spread out on the floor. The quality is highly varied. There are no changing rooms. If you enjoy that kind of thing (and hey, I do), you'll love it. Otherwise, maybe not so much. p.s. don't forget the potential for buying clothes for the fabric - it's really a great bargain.
