Do they do this anywhere else? In the great (little g) state of Oregon they pump your gas for you. I kid you not. You don’t even have a choice. Really. If I want to pump my own gas, I have to leave state. Does anyone else find this strange? Does the state of Oregon think it’s dangerous for me to pump my own gas? Do the workers in the state have to go through some sort of petroleum safety course? Maybe it’s the rest of us that are strange and every state in the Union should be forcing their citizens to let another man fill their tank. Never mind.
I’m gonna post a question about this.
Good day.

I prefer the noodle bowls. Charbroiled pork is #16, my favorite. The noddles are perfectly cooked, as is the meat, and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. If it wasn't for Tamarind Tree, this would be my favorite vietnamese food in the city.
If there was a down side, it was the mediocre spring rolls and so-so service. A water would be nice. But hey, you can do it all well.
Good day.

Let me start by saying that I don't consider myself anything close to a BBQ expert. I'm skeptical of it because it's usually too sweet for my taste. I don't like BBQ sauce that tastes too much of sugar and/or molasses.
That said, pecos brings it with the spicy flavor that is not too sugary. The pork sandwich (I haven't had the brisket) is juicy and moist, falling apart in the bun.
It is MESSY. As someone else said in their review of Pecos, use the spork, you'll never make it through without it.
You absolutely must "spike it". Spiking it refers to adding a sliced hot link to your sandwich. If you don't do it, you're not getting the whole picture.
In review, three things to remember: Spike. Spork. Pork.
Good day!

My general theory on restaurants is that they should pick one thing and do it well. Eastlake Teriyaki does not subscribe to my theory.
They serve teriyaki, pho and yakisoba, among other things. When I first tried them I thought they were casting their nets a little too wide but I tried it anyway. I had the chicken teriyaki. It wasn't good. I'm no expert on describing flavors but the words bland and boring come to mind.
The next time I went (I know, I know, but it's close to work) I had the yakisoba. I'm no expert at describing textures, but the words chewy and wet cardboard refrigerator box come to mind.
I'm not going back. It's not good, even if it is within walking distance of the office.
One positive note: My coworker ordered the "small" and was ridiculed for ordering the "kids" portion by the woman behind the counter. That made it worth two stars.

I can't seem to wander down Broadway without stopping in to browse, and 9 times out of 10 it seems I buy something.
Because it's a small store Bailey-Coy isn't the best place to go if you have a specific title in mind. On the other hand, if you just want to browse, see what's new and possibly stumble on something you wouldn't have otherwise found, it is fantastic. Larger bookstores never seem to get this, they generally concentrate on best sellers in their most popular categories. The crowd isn't always right and Bailey-Coy gets this.
They recommend things based on employees taste. Sometimes I agree with them sometimes I don't, but I'm always appreciative of the unique viewpoint.
Thanks Bailey-Coy!

I love Stephenson's. It's my favorite hardware store. Always convenient, always knowledgeable and helpful. I'm not sure how much I like the remodel, it might be a little too clean now. If I ever need something it always seems like they have it, and I much prefer them to Home Depot or Lowes. The prices seem to be little higher than the big box stores, but not even close to enough to drive me off the great service and friendly attitudes of the people at Stephenson's.

Top Pot has great coffee, great donuts and a sweet palm tree. That being said, unless you have kids or love being surrounded by them when you're groggy and in need of a cup of coffee, stay away from this place on the weekends. I like to roll through here at about 10AM on a weekday and it's great. Quiet, great service and great product. I guess it has sort of taken on the character of the neighborhood with all the young families, but I'm kinda partial to the more adult feel of the other two locations.

I went last weekend with a few friends and the food was still great, but the place was a ghost town. It must be the death of Broadway that's done it because the food was still good and the service was excellent. I have to admit I kinda missed the hustle and bustle that the place used to have. It seems to have calmed down considerably. Oh well, the food is still great and I'll be back again.

The downsides are seating and parking are dificult and, at least around lunch time, you can get a little more for your money elseware.
