Good, but slipping

Tuesday, May 30, 2006
I was originally drawn into H&M by the relatively low prices for men's fashions that didn't toe the usual urban and sports lines which most other clothing stores followed. The variety of offerings was nice as well as it gave me a choice between the cheeper casual lines as well as the more expensive formal business wear (which was still very reasonably priced). Even though I'm a small size (right on the bottom end of the sizing chart) I was always able to find a few items which I actually liked. However it seems that the buyer for the NYC stores decided that they no longer needed to distinguish themselves and they converted the casual lines over to frat boy central. I'm still able to find things in my size but not as often. The more expensive lines are still nice looking... but they don't cut them as small as the casual lines so I can't find anything. Bastards.
