This is the closest library to me so I frequent it the most. First and foremost, this library is tiny! I mean really tiny! There are maybe 9 tables in the whole place. Needless to say they don't have a wide selection of books. They only have around 4 public computers. The staff is super nice and the library is always neat. If I need to study I go here, if I need to do research I go elsewhere.

Okay. So it is quite expensive to go to the aquarium, but it's good family entertainment with a little layering of education. The layout is not the best but they do have really good rotating exhibits. The shark tank is really nice. I agree with the other reviewer who stated that the food was expensive. It was!! Sure the zoo is great...but it doesn't really have an aquarium like this one so I suggest visiting both.

I really like Princeton Bowl. On certain nights they have disco bowl where the lights go down, they start up disco lights and the turn the music up. Not a good place to go if you don't like smoke, as it can get quite smokey. They stay open late on New years Eve and turn the ball drop on every other monitor, which is fun. Refreshments are reasonably priced as well.

Kings Island is a once a year treat for my family. It is ridiculously expensive unless you get a season pass, or use a coupon that can be find on various soda cans throughout the year. The rides are great, there are plenty of places to eat and some shopping as well. Keep a close track of where you car is parked on busy days because it is easy to lose it. They also have season events in the fall and during the winter.

This is a little Garden Center. They have great quality plants, which is why I go back, although prices are a little high. I don't mind, though becase it is a family owned business. It is as neat and orderly as a garden center can be. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help you out. I probaby wouldn't buy from them if I was filling in a large flower bed...but for general flowers for planters and such I like them.

I happen to live close to the Hyde Park Busken which is the distribution center and is open 24 hours. Everything there is always quite fresh. Busken is a full-service bakery with special desserts, wedding cakes, donuts, coffee, pastries. Their foods are quite tastey albeit a little pricey. They have adorable seasonal cookies (even for tax season!) which are OK...but somehow addictive.

I originally joined this YMCA in order to get into shape. They have a really nice olympic size pool which I like to swim laps in, but the free swims are not scheduled very frequently. The gym equiptment is OK...not as high-tech and nice as other YMCA's I have seen, but this is the closest to me. They have lots of summer camps for children which is a good thing.

I, too, ventured to Zips Cafe in search of "Cincinnati's Best Burger." That and the fact that at the time I lived right up the street from the place. The burger was good, but not the best I have had. The place is really small and gets quite congested and cramped on the weekends. In the winter you should try to not sit by the front door because the door is constantly open (lots of customers) and you and your food will be freezing!

The Freedom Center is housed in a beautiful building and really makes a statement. Admission is a little steep but as the other reviewer stated, everyone should go there at least once. There are lots of interactive items throughout. I highly recommend checking out the slave-pen. Very disturbing...along the same lines as the Holocaust museum in Washington DC. But everyone should see them both at least once.

The new ballpark is 10 times better than the previous one. And you can get really cheap tickets the farther up you are willing to sit...so it's great for an evening when you are looking for something to do. Of course it would be better if the Reds were doing well...but I'm a fan nonetheless. Eating and drinking there can get quite expensive, which is the case at all stadiums. Parking can be challenging on popular game-days.
