Complete Petmart is closer to me than Petsmart so if I just need something small this is where I usually stop. They don't keep much in stock....the store is much smaller than Petsmart, and also a little more expensive. You can still bring you pet with you, which I like. The staff is OK, Store is usually clean and tidy.

The store itself is a little messy and cramped and reminds me of Big Lots. I usually have to ask where to fid something as the store is a little disorganized. The prices are outstanding.

Yankee candles are the best. They have a wide range of scents, in all different forms of candles. The store itself can be a little overwhelming, scent-wise. YOu get used to it though. The staff can border on over-bearing at times. Prices are a little steep but they always have a scent of the month that is 25% off and they have really good sales twice a year.

I try to like Walmart, really I do. But they make it so hard. They do have grear prices, if you can find what you are looking for. They always have things misplaced on the shelves. They are out of stock on alot of things that I do find that I need. The store is generally messy and cramped. The customer service is rude (can't say I blame them, since Walmart isn't so nice to their employees). Probably will never go back to another Walmart.

The best thing about Target is their clearances. YOu can usually find them on end-caps and scattered throught the regular stock. You can find really great deals that way. Other than that I love Target because it is so tidy, the staff is very friendly, and I can usually always find what I am looking for. The prices are great as well.

IT was hard to find things that were on my list, so I eventually gave up and went elsewhere. From what I did see, they had great prices, but that was about all.

Wild Oats is a great place to buy organic food and such. They have a very wide selection and they also have a great fresh produce section. My favorite part of Wild Oats is the large health and beauty section and the cafe that is inside the store. They also carry my Crocs (shoes) which I love. Prices are a little high, though.

I confess, I am a girly-girl. That being said my favorite place to check out new makeup is the free-standing MAC store in Kenwood Mall. They have a great selection, everything is excellent quality. The staff is great and oh so helpful. They will help you pick out the right colors based on your skin tone and show you how to put different things together. The store itself can be a little overwhelming, but I suggest just closing your eyes and going it. You'll be glad you did!

I could spend a whole afternoon in Half Price Books. They have great prices, especially if you check out the clearance shelves near the front entrance. The store is cozy and the staff is kind and helpful. The only drawback to Half PRice Books is that you need to come armed with the title and author of the book if you are looking for one in particular. The staff cannot look it up for you, so you are kind of out of luck. They also have back issues of many different magazines for like $.98. Great place!

In general GAP clothing is a little pricey. But that's OK when they hold up well, and will still be in style for a few seasons. They also have great clearances if you hit it right. They rarely send out coupons unless you have a GAP card, which I do not. I am also very short so I wish they hard more petite sizes in stock. On a side note...make sure you check out the Gap Distribution Outlet in Hebron, KY. Excellent prices!
