a great surprise just around the corner!

My wife and I recently moved to Seattle and were looking for restaurants in the Phinney area that aren't too pricey. You get the impression that the owners know the families who frequent the restaurant well. Service was quick and very friendly, and the food was lovely. We had Kung Pao Tofu, Green Jade (broccoli, green beans and pea pods) and Sweet and Sour Prawns. The Kung Pao was perfect, not undercooked nor burned, and plenty spicy. The vegetables were cooked just right, and the Sweet and Sour Prawns were just as you'd expect. The most expensive item we had was less than $7. We've already been back - and will keep going back.
