I wish I was a kid again and that Dr. McMahon was my pediatrician. Ballard Pediatrics is top notch and everyone working there is of the highest caliber.

I've just discovered Ballard Safeway after living in the neighborhood for 8 years. When they built this store, I blew it off as being another fruit fly infested, flourecent lit sanitarium. But last month my baby sister suggested that we stop in and low and behold...AMAZING!!! Clean. Cozy. Priced right. A good selection of veggie/organic foods. Thier floral department was nice. I was shocked and pleased.
Forget Fred Meyer; that place pretends to be low price but it's the same as QFC (same company, Kroger). I'll still pick up my bulk goods at Ballard Market. Specialty foods have to come from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or my special boutique food shops. But for every day shopping Safeway Ballard is the place.

This restaurant is perfect in my opinion. They focus on what is most important in food...THE FOOD. My guess is that if they focused on service and busing tables, every big-shot with a cell phone would be in there messing things up for the rest of us. This is one of Seattle's few locals only type places and I like it that way.
Last week I discovered that Paseo has added many new items to the menu. I had a fish sandwich which is identical to the prawn sandwich, only less messy. Unfortunately, I didn't write down all of the new items but you can trust me, head on in and try some of their new fare. I can guarantee it's ALL yummy!
To think I walked past this place for three years thinking it was a teriyaki joint.

Bootsy Holler knows how to capture the most authentic moments of your wedding. Her emotional intelligence is high and she uses it to evoke true beauty of your wedding day. She has an excellent sense of humor and an eye for dramatic staging. I've seen wedding photos of hers that look like Voque fashion shoots.
I can guarantee that if you use Bootsy your photos will look like nobody else.

I've eaten at Wild Ginger at least twice a year since around the time it opened so may years ago. Somebody is always having a birthday there or celebrating their latest achievement of average consistency and I keep accepting invitations to meet and eat at the FAMOUS WILD GINGER! And every time it's the same food. Those overcooked green beens with soy sauce...weeeeee! And some sad seafood or other meat with goo sauce. For CHRIST'S SAKE people. Update the menu or add the Golden Arches to your logo.

You're not a cemera store if you don't sell gaffer's tape but you sell scrap booking supplies.

First - The lunch special is the best deal in town for the money. A big baguette sandwich (pate, tuna, camembert, turkey&swiss, etc...), one of their over the top delicious pastries and any drink (tart and sweet lemonade, real apple juice, americano, whatever...) and I think the price is still just over $7 with tax and tip. I used to frequently drive from Bellevue for this lunch because I was in love (with the food).
Second - While in France I tried to like the pastries there but nothing topped Le Fournil.
