Never used Heatmasters but saw their sticker on my furnace with a note for coupling replacement in 2002. Never had any problems until my furnace started making loud noises. After a cursory glance and quick comment that my furnace was too old, service guy gave me an estimate for a new pump $1k or a new furnace $4,200. I became suspicious after service man was whining about how this winter was warm and slow for them. I called someone else who told me coupling needed to be replaced again (only lasts about 10 years so it was time). This part was less than $15. (And just to check I got an estimate for a new pump (pump alone only costs $100, new furnace for $3,750.) You would think maybe he would check that same part since they replaced before!! Please don't call them! They will try to take advantage of you or rip you off bc you might not know any better or they are having a slow season. I'm pissed I'm out of $89 for the service call I got charged by Heatmasters.
