This Borders has any type of book that you need and a great cafe but the real reason that I love it is because it is building up the area around it. Currently this location isn't known to be all that safe at night, but because of Borders corporate feel and popular demand it is making this area of Chicago grow into a more developed and safer location.

This place has a very wide variety to chose from. The prices are good and the people are easy to help you find what you are looking for. I wouldn't go in here with any young and impressionable children though because I always find at least one book out that has a half naked person on it. Other than that I love this place.

You can sit in the cafe area and relax as you get that long awaited reading in. This isn't the place to eat at though. If you are going to be here for a while and start looking at those sandwiches then think twice and take a walk outside in any direction and you can get some real food.

There is a Borders Books which is only a few yards away from this place that has a wider selection and better prices. I also like the staff there more. This Barnes and Noble is about half the size of the Borders Books as well. If you have time then this place would be good to do some price matching but odds are that you will end up at Borders anyways.

This place carries all types of comics and action figurines. I had passed by here so many times until I decided to finally go in. This place has everything for the comic fanatic. I ended up getting some low costing comics for my nephew and he loves them. If you have someone young that you are getting a present for then this is a unique gift at a good price.

The one thing about this place is that it doesn't feel like a good place to sit down and get some work done at book store which is what I like most about these places.

This place has all of the normal books and magazines that your regular large chain book store. I was in here the other day and decided to sit down like I would at any of these stores and get a cup of coffee to do some reading but the coffee that they served was horrible. I was told that it was Starbucks but if it was then they should be ashamed of themselves because it didn't taste anything like it. You might want to try Borders which is about five blocks south.
