Year in and year out this spot always gets great ratings. I've now tried the place twice and continue to be mystified by all the fuss. First of all the room is completed tacky. Plastic posters and Japanese knick nacks fill the room. The tables are crammed together so you feel as if you're back to being packed on the 6 train. The food is fine. The fish seems fresh enough, but nothing to write home about. The crowd is depressing. If you must order from here please get it to go.
